On February 14, 2024, I rented a Bike Share Toronto bike for approximately 10 minutes. I was charged a $50 deposit and it was returned within a week. Then on February 26, 2024, I received a charge of $113 and a second $50 deposit fee. I called customer service and they said the system stated I had used the bike for over a week but that they would refund me the difference of the 10 minute use. I received a refund of $110 but the $50 fee had still not been returned. I called customer service again and they said they could not see the $50 charge, only the initial $50 charge and refund but that I could email with evidence. I sent an email with screenshots for my bank and I got a response that they would reply within seven business days After seven business days I followed up and still did not get a response. I called customer service again and they stated that they could not see the second $50 charge on February 26 and that I should double check because my bank. * ** *** ********* **** ** ***** **** ** ******** ** ** **** * ********** ********* ** ** **** ***** *** **** ********** ***** **** ******* ****** ******* ** ** ***** *** **** **** ** ** **** *********** *** ***** ********** **********

To Whom It May Concern: On February 9, 2024, I paid for my Toronto Bike Share membership with my ********* **********. I am missing the benefit listed by Bike Share with regard to this payment. These instructions are printed on Toronto Bike Share's payment page: "Pay with your ********* Credit Card to earn 2% Money-Back Rewards if ‘Transportation’ is one of your selected Money-Back categories." **** **********  It is worth noting that ********* does not precisely list 'Transportation' as one of its money-back categories; the closest choice available from them is called 'Parking/Public'. **** ********** The categories I have selected among those available to receive 2% cashback are 'Recurring Bills', 'Entertainment', and 'Parking/Public'. **** ********** In my opinion, Bike Share charges should be covered under Parking/Public, however yearly charges could also be considered a recurring bills. If none of this is true, then Toronto Bike Share is ******* advertising a benefit which does not exist. In any case, I paid $135.60 on February 9, 2024 using my ********* **********, but I did not get the advertised 2% cash back. **** ******** **** *** ******** ********  I called ********* bank about this and they said that the code Bike Share used to charge this fee was not listed as 'transportation' but 'other'. I do not feel that Bike Share should promise a promotion on its website that does not actually work. I have had several similar charges from Bike Share that I have asked about in the past, including charges for e-bikes. All of these should have been included under transportation and subject to **********'s reward scheme. On February 18 and 27, I contacted Bike Share via email with this information and supportive screenshots documenting my claim. I have yet to hear a result. At this point, I would like Toronto Bike Share to modify their website to remove any erroneous information regarding its promotions. **** ******* ****** *****
