**** ******** ** ******** their work is terrible, *** *** ************* *** ******** *** ******** I brought my phone in for a simple battery replacement last Saturday and have experienced a number of frustrating *** ************** experiences with this business ever since: 1) They told me the battery replacement would be under a one-year warranty and then when I came to pick up my phone, they told me the warranty was void because when they opened up the phone, there was evidence of water damage. They should really let customers know this is a possibility before they go ahead with a repair. 2) They broke my phone's fingerprint sensor and blamed it on the age of my phone (I bought in in August 2021), implying the parts turned to dust when they opened up the back because the phone is so old. 3) I noticed an issue with the screen a few days after the battery replacement and 4 days after the repair, my phone died. * ***** **** **** *** **** *** **** ** ****** *** the screen is black and misaligned. 4) I requested a full refund as my phone suddenly died 4 days after they worked on it (it worked perfectly fine, albeit with a battery that didn't last all day, before this). They had me come into the store only to tell me I couldn't get a refund because the exposure to water randomly killed my phone and it had nothing to do with their ****** work. They also tried to sell me a ***** phone plan and new phone. Eventually they offered a partial refund but I'd have to wait around for 1+ hour for them to remove the battery. At this point I *** ********** **** so I left. 5) I sent an email asking that they escalate this as I want to lodge a complaint with their head office. I have not heard back. My problem is that they lack transparency and do not stand behind their work.
