I subscribed to the card when their service was free. After a couple of years, they quietly introduced an account management fee and sucked out my balance using that. I guess it is my bad too, need to check the card monthly... Anyway, have no trusty to them anymore and asked the account closure. I see am not alone here and Stack even stop responding on this site.Review from Bob F

Was using it for a couple of years. It was a free service, then this month they quietly introduced exorbitant fees and made closing your account to avoid them very difficult. I had to attempt to close it three times before they finally complied. **** *** **** **********Review from Susanne R

I don't use Stack but one of my clients does and he attempted to pay me via transfer with his Stack card. I got an email from Stack informing me the funds were on offer but quickly found out I can only retrieve them by opening a Stack account myself, which I have no interest in doing but conceded anyway so I can get paid. The verification process will not complete, and I can't even log into the account with the email and password I used to create it. Essentially, Stack has hijacked my money that I earned and are withholding it until I complete this impossible process of obtaining a Stack card that I don't want! ***********************************************Review from Raamah Z

Had been a customer for a number of years with Stack. I think there was only one time I had an issue more than a year ago with a bank machine out of country that took money without actually giving it out. Through the complaint process I did get the money returned within 30 days I'm sure. Other than that never another incident that took place. Have used the account frequently over the past couple years until today when I received an email to state that my account was closed and to state that Stack has the right to close out accounts within the Cardholder agreement. That might very well be true, but when calling into Stack a member of the team could not even give me a reason she could find in the computer that would prompt Stack to close out the account. I fully expect Stack to respond hiding behind a Cardholder agreement but I would imagine the issue is likely more that Stack was not getting enough money from me through the interchange per swipe at merchants. Well within their right, but a poor reflection of customer service.
