Received a Notice / Demand from A&O Systems Group on 09-23-2023 10 - 13 years ago We had hired A&O Systems Group to build a website with content we provided. We purchased a domain name through ** ***** (*********************) and granted A&O Systems Group Access via ** ***** to update and build site only. We had registered the business name, as well as, selected the domain name and hosted through ** *****. To my memory the package with ** ***** was for a 1 - 2 yr period for until the domain name was to be renewed, in which our billing / credit card information was on file to accommodate renewal of services and domain name with ** *****. Unbeknownst to us, A&O Systems Group replaced the credit card details and ownership info in the back end of ** ***** and subsequently paid the renewal fee without any communication or permission from our company. Shortly after this A&O Systems sent a communication in an attempt ** ****** *** ******** to regain access back to the domain name and website which we had paid him to build with our content. ** ** ****** **** **** ****** *** ********** **** ******** **** ****** * *** ******* **** ********* ****** *** ** **********  As we were relatively young at the time and not technically savvy instead of complaining and reaching out to the consumer bureau, we decided to move on from the site and the services of A&O Systems Group ** ** **** *** ***** ** ** ******** *** * ******* *** ******* ** ***** ** ******* *** ** **** *** ******** ****** ******** ******** ** ****** *** ********* ****** *** ******* ** *** **** *********** **** ** ***** *** ********** **** ******* *** ****** ******* we no loner had use and access to the site to answer customer inquiries. We then purchased a new domain name with ** ***** (***************************) and hired a new company to rebuild the site with the content we had provided. We then had to try to build up our companies reputation that was severed and were not able to build the same momentum with the new site ** *** ********** *** **** ********  We then decided about 6 - 7 years ago to no longer actively run or promote the business or site but continued to pay the renewal with ** ***** for domain name and hosting as we had invested much funds over the years. We then received a *********** phone call from Oliver at A&O Systems Group re: infringement as well as during the post 48hrs following his call multiple attempts from a hacker trying to obtain access to the ** ***** account which hosted the new site. Note: As we had not used the site or ******* account on a regular basis the timing of the phone call and online hacking attempts seem to correspond. ** **** ******** ****** ******* *** ***** **** ******* **** *** ******* ***** ********* ******** ** *** **** * ******* ********* ******** **** *** ***** ********* ******* ** *** **** ***** ******** *******   We at first took the original position of ignoring *** ********* ********* ******** but then received a demand letter 09-23-2023. for billing $50 per month of 89 months (since 2015) Note: We have not had any contact with A&O Systems Group for over a decade *** *** ******** ** *** ******* ******* ** ****** ***** ********** ** * *** ********* **** ****** ***** ********** *** ******* *** *****  We would like the company and the owner Oliver to STOP *********** *** contacting our company. Late last year, ******, from A&O Systems contacted us regarding our then existing website, convincing us that we were paying too much with our then service provider. Unfortunately, we FELL for all his words, and he was asked to put something together for us. Without, our consent/review of OUR website, he went ahead and had it running, including our personal photos, and false information about employees. We have asked for our domain name and password, which he refuses to release, unless we pay big $$$. We have contacted him, but when he didn't like what was being said, which was the truth, he hung up. We have sent him numerous texts, called on all his numbers, but with no replies.
