*** ** *** ******* ***** *** ********* ******** ** ** *********** Have tried to call multiple times to no avail, have sent emails that have never been acknowledged. They refused to update personal info and change my bank for preauth payments. I traded in my *** for a ******. The dealership paid out my loan for the *** ,with Scotiabank so I could get a new loan for my ****** with TD. But then a few weeks my account was deducted 50.82 . I couldn't figure out who this was or why this amount .So I got my bank to investigate to find out who and why. Then the phone calls started from Scotiabank collections saying they want their 50.82 . I explained ,several times, that I don't owe then anything . I just traded in my car and got another one with another bank. In one day I got 10 phone calls from their collections demanding payment. I got in touch with the new loan manager ,at TD, who were very helpful. They told me to get in touch with the dealership where I got my car from. So I did . **** ******* ******* *** *** ****** * *** ****** **** *********** So they took over and went after Scotiabank. ******** ******** I bought a new vehicle and the new dealership paid out my loan, I received a lien release letter and then an amount into my account as SDA owed me money. All of a sudden, they retracted the letter and are telling me I owe the money back. After about 10 calls and each time getting different amounts that I apparently owe, the spoke with the new dealership behind my back and had the lien taken off my vehicle, the new dealership now refuses to take my calls and have sold my vehicle leaving me with this amount I apparently owe and since they took the lien off the new dealership won't help me at all. I call almost every 2nd day and get different amounts that I apparently owe, and it fluctuates sometimes $1,000 difference. I have asked for help no help SDA refuses to provide me with dates of payments received and also refuses to provide me paper work.Review from Paul P

Was trying to get caught up from being laid off with my car payments and I literally owed 2000 for my car payments . I had the money and the bank would not accept it saying that my car was getting repoed for non payment. I was dealing with Rodney and he said I never called him and that he never recieved my emails. As of may I have been trying to change my payment frequency to bi weekly and to the days I actually receive my ** payments I called way before when my payment was due and got no result, either I was transferred multiple times and hung up on our there was a wait Time of an hour or more, so I ended up getting an nsf charge from an issue that could've been resolved very quickly super not impressed, not to mention I made the payment of the 99 dollars but thought the payment amount was supposed to be 95 and I am now getting charged extra amount I do not have for this because I got the amount wrong and they didn't tell me or send it back, I demand assistance as this company has terrible customer service!!!!!Review from Allisha C

Called to have my vehicle payment split into two, since I couldnÂ’t afford the entire amount in one lump. They arranged the split payment, and told me everything was good.
They took the first payment on May 20th, all was good.
Then I check my account to see if another payment went out correctly, to find I have a negative account balance!
Turns out they took the first initial payment, and then took out the full payment still. And on top of that I ended up getting 2 NSF fees because they charged me for the payment they tried to take that they shouldnÂ’t have took, and then also I got charged for the payment that was missed due to them taking a payment they werenÂ’t suppose to. Cost me $100 in NSF and they wonÂ’t even pay those fees, because apparently thatÂ’s my problem!
I am absolutely livid! And when I was told a manager would contact me, they never did.
Today I call again and am told a manager cannot contact me for 48 to 72 hours.
They never tried to contact me at all and now they are trying to pull this same crap again?!

I work for the AB gov, they have experienced difficulties with a new pay system, I informed the bank and thought they would work with me as this is totally out of my control, 1st spoke to very nice lady a few weeks ago, then yesterday May 31 2922. This person was both ******************* and proceeded to hang up with no further contact . Good luck trying to call them back Ignore emails and no contact in the phone. Plz look for much better service and professionalism b fire you think of this awful company. I wish I did.Scotia Dealer Advantage Inc Response

I have attempted to contact the number provide this is a general number about account information. Meaning having to go through this conversation all again. No extension number was given. I work in a jail and not permitted to have my phone with me .Review from Haley H

They will ****** you by phone. Even if you don't owe them for another week.
Then someone will call you asking about the same ******* thing over and over. You guys need to get your notes figured out. I'm overpaid this month and don't have a payment for another week. Yet I've had 4 phone calls before noon.Review from Scott K

**************************************, their negligence on my account has put me behind on house payments, they claimed to stop taking payments from my account and that the account was done, but since the account has been dealt with and closed, they have taken over $1700 from my account, claiming to be refunding me the money that was taken, after multiple phone calls and finally speaking to a manager who told me that the money would be refunded into my account within 2 day's, but that didn't happen, 10 days later I received a bank draft for half the amount that is owed to me, to top that off, the bank draft is no good to me because the information on it is incorrect, and no-one at Scotiabank or Scotia dealer advantage can seem to do anything about it, saying the amount has been paid and the account has been closed .. they are ignorant, and negligent in regards to any customer, no matter the documents they send that they sign stating they will do something, it doesn't happen, so now my lawyer and I are taking them to court, ************************************************Review from Lise C

************************************. I paid off my car early and they did not report to the credit burreau. NOW I cannot reach anyone to fix this matter and it is affecting my credit. ******....they don't reply to emails and or phone extensions..
