We had a leak from a pressure valve over the holidays and called Laird and Son. The technician, Alex, was polite, knowledgeable and professional. He was here within 3 hours of the call and fixed everything to our satisfaction. Highly recommend!

My mother’s water heater stopped working. Laird & Son sent a technician and for $171.00 told us it needed a new part and it would cost $1,000 plus tax to repair. He did not have the part on him but would call when it was in. My nephew phoned Laird to get a breakdown of parts and labor for the repair. Laird would not provide the breakdown and said they do not do that. My nephew phoned an appliance repair shop and was told the part would cost $386.00. My nephew bought the part and repaired the water heater himself saving us over $600.00 plus tax. I was not impressed with this kind of price gouging by Laird and will not be using their service in the future. I do not think any serviceman is entitled to charge $600.00 plus for their labor.Laird & Son Heating & Air Conditioning Response

Hello Thank you for allowing us to quote on the service work that you needed done . It is true we only provide flat rate pricing meaning the repairs include labour and parts . Sometimes time is required to find the part that is needed . We do not sell parts over the counter and the repairs are done by highly trained technicians . At least you were able to use our techs diagnostic to know what the problem was .Review from David W

After finding our regular gas boiler service company went out of business, we decided to give Laird a try. Our technician was Michael A, who was very efficient and personable. Excellent Service ! All the technicians were very professional and knowledgeable. I could see that everyone thoroughly enjoyed working together to install my new ******** furnace. Firstly Laird has a great overall customer service approach: txt, e-mail and cell call to let you know exactly when they are coming and who is coming (name of service person and picture so you know exactly who to expect knocking on your door !). Also, it was great to see the badge saying "fully vaccinated". Our technition was Bryan M and I must say he was extremely professional, courteous and informative. He was quick and efficient and gave us piece of mind that our furnace equipement was in tip top shape. I have used Laird and Son for many years and never been disappointed. 5 stars for for both the company and Bryan !Laird & Son Heating & Air Conditioning Response
