On April 5, 2022 we hired Capital Contracting to remove our existing driveway, have it redone including and 8' extension. The company was currently doing many other driveways in the neighborhood and Jimmy the owner confronted my wife and asked if we would like to have ours done as well. We confirmed with Jimmy three times that he would be tearing out the old one and installing a new proper driveway. The next day when I was at work they showed up, did not rip out the old one and just paved over it with an insufficient amount of poor quality asphalt. They were completed in 45 minutes. Unfortunately my wife paid them the agreed upon $4750 cash. I contacted Jimmy the next day and spoke to him. He said he would call me back and never did. I contacted him again the next day and he said he would show up that evening and have a look. I came home from work early to meet him and he never showed up. The work done was not what we had agreed upon and what they did do was of extremely poor quality, we are sinking into it after a week. They didn't even install the extension correctly. I have since tried to contact Jimmy but I have either been blocked or his number no longer exists.
