    ** *** ***** **** **** ******** this company used to be good, then it was bought out by Hello Fresh and Chefs Plate was gutted, my roommate and I bought food on his account and was supposed to arrive Tuesday Mar 25 2025, it's now Wednesday with 2 hours and 15 minutes left before they stop delivering for the day if the ice packs haven't completely thawed and the meat hasn't gone bad then when the winter storm hits tonight everything is going to refreeze and have to throw it out anyways and this is not the first time they've been over 24 hours late and there has always been something wrong with at least one of the recipes, and have to complain to their customer service to get a refund and then go to the grocery store to buy the ingredient/s, then there's the selection their selection of recipes which has drastically dropped in amount and variety, and now they have max meals which is the same thing as there pack meals but more expensive. Their add-on section is a joke these days.

    Not worth all the problems. I used to like ordering here **** * ***** ******* ** my options were limited on what I could order which was fine until they started sending me things I couldn't eat. Often times I'd get boxes despite skipping that week and other times after selecting my meals it would change my choices to the default options which almost always contain dairy. It happened often enough that I asked for my account to be deleted, at this point I'm throwing away as much as I'm eating from these boxes and whether or not they've refunded me that's not ok. Instead of deleting my account it, they deactivated it. Three months later without any notice by email text or otherwise a box of food showed up at my house and my account was charged $60 and they have refused to refund me and claim that they have now deleted my account but who knows if they actually did it this time.

    Be careful when reactivating your account. I went in to see menus etc… then logged out. A week later noticed a credit card charge. I logged into my account and noticed they were shipping a box with preselected meals they had selected. I called and was told that this happens when you reactivate your account. They said as a courtesy they would reimburse half the amount and I explained I was very unhappy and to deactivate and delete my account. May be this is partially my fault, but no where when I logged in and looked at menus did it explain that was reactivating and they would charge my credit card. Seems to me to be a very disrespectful way to do business, *** ********* * *** **** **** **** ******* * * *****

    Used to be good but now it's unreliable, inconsistent, and never on time. We have had 6 boxes just not show up this year. Every time we contact support they will "credit us back" for the box but there is zero incentive to keep trusting them. We let the first few slide, and now we are done with them entirely. One time the box actually showed up 4 days late and everything had gone bad. Customer service is always slow to respond, never seems to actually care about your concerns, and clearly don't take issues seriously because the delivery and quality issues have just continued to get worse. **** *** **** **** ***** ***** *** ***** ****** ******** ***** ******

    My food came a day late. The ice bag was melted and the meat was warm. I didn't trust any perishables in the box. I tried twice to reach out to their customer service people. One suggested that the food should be fine and not to worry ******* **** *** ****** ** **** ******** ***** **** ** ********* *******. The other said she was crediting my account for $17.97 for my inconvenience. I complained about that so she credited my account another $10. This for a box of food that I paid $65 for. I don't understand how companies can get away with this. Absolutely terrible customer service.

    Worst customer service ever. They charged me 3 times the amount they were supposed to. Then called me a **** when I gave them proof of my bank statement. I asked to speak with a manager or accounting dept and they refused.i have no idea how I will get my money back from them. It's so ridiculous.     They sent me a box that I had not ordered and charged $88, and did not apply the $24 that I had earned. All 3 meal bags had no meat leaving me with $10 of veggies. Refused to respond to my complaint

    I've encountered multiple issues with the meal kits I received, as some ingredients were spoiled and unfit for consumption. The ricotta cheese for the Cheese & Spinach-Stuffed Calzones arrived open, contaminated with broken plastic and dirt. Despite reporting this, the compensation of a $4 credit for 2 meals felt inadequate. Likewise, receiving open and spoiled pork for the Hoisin Pork Peanut Noodles with no compensation led to further dissatisfaction. It was suggested by their 24/7 live chat to cancel my subscription with their service as they could not do anything more for me.

    My daughter inadvertently reactivated a dormant account from years back. Imagine our surprise when a box showed up at our doorstep and we were charged accordingly. MY daughter DID NOT order anything. The food that showed up was food we were unable to eat and most of it went to the dog. They did refund HALF of what I was billed. This is **** ***** ******** ******** *** not a model that seems sustainable. Will never do business with this outfit again.

    Beware when adding a payment method with this company. My daughter had an account and had canceled it. They called and tried to offer her a deal and told them she was not interested they reactivated her account and charged her. She called their customer service and they claimed she agreed on the phone (she didn’t) and their agent sent her an email saying she agreed to an order and would be charged (it doesn’t) and then only offered 50% back or credit.
