      March 2020, we were to go to Ireland on a tour we purchased through TourRadar. It was canceled due to COVID. We were not allowed to get a refund but were given an additional 10% of our booking ($119) to use towards excursions. We rebooked this trip for March 18th, 2022. Before the tour, I requested to use the $119 towards excursions. We were told that the excursions would be booked during the tour so they would credit us the amount back to the credit card. We went on the tour. We purchased excursions over the $119 credit. We have asked multiple times (via "booking page" and phone calls) to receive the credit. They keep saying they will handle it, but it is now April 5th and no credit has been issued. I would like to receive the $119 as soon as possible.

      Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2022/05/30) */ This traveller received an extra 10% of credit for future tours some time ago. When rebooking, they had some extra credit left over and wanted to book additional excursions with this. Because these needed to be booked on tour, and not prior, the traveller was unable to apply their leftover credit at that time. They instead negotiated with their operator to pay from their own funds for the excursions, and later be refunded that amount up to their credit limit post tour. The traveller was refunded as requested once permission was granted from the operator, and the traveller was advised of this throughout the process. Consumer Response /* (2000, 16, 2022/05/31) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Saying we negotiated being refunded post trip is inaccurate. *************************************************************************************************************************They have refunded the money now. So I'm very grateful for that.
