I am an HOA boardmember for ******** **** ******, Inc. located in Burbank, CA. The HOA board entered into an annual subscription service with Condo Control but last year in Sep/Oct 2023, we determined that owners weren't using the Condo Control portal, so we voted to discontinue the service for the upcoming renewal cycle in November 2023. The HOA President, *** ******* called Condo Control and informed them that we were no longer interested in their services (provide online portals for HOAs) and would not be renewing. The other two board members, myself and ****** ****** kept receiving renewal notices from Condo Control via email. We responded four times in writing to the company that we were cancelling their services (1 Nov 23, twice on 6 Nov 23 and 15 Nov 23). The company has since tried to take money directly from the HOA's bank account in the amount of $648.90 several days ago. * *** ******** ** *** **** ** * ***** ****** ***** ** ***** ********* ************* ********** *******. We informed them 5 times, as indicated above, once by telephone, and four times via writing. We are no longer interested in their services *** **** *** ******* ** ************.Business response

So to summarize they tried to cancel with less than 30 days notice to renewal. Then on Nov 14th 2023 they confirmed they will be paying the invoice via check...
They happen to have payment details in their workspace for the ACH withdrawl which were then used to attempt to withdraw the funds for the outstanding 2024 invoice.
