I rent a hot water tank from this company and they are literally impossible to reach. I have been attempting to contact them during regular business hours since September with no success. I want to set up billing for my account so that my credit is not ruined and so that I can pay my arrears.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/05/06) */ During the Pandemic at the end of 2021, Empire Hot Water Tank Rentals had to make significant changes to our subscription setup and customer service. We think the change to online billing and subscription setup provide an easy and worry free way for our customers to submit payment for their Hot Water Tank Rental. The communication issue is resolved on our end and the customer has successfully setup an account. We strive to provide timely service and will continue to do so going forward. Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2022/05/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) While I accept that the business experienced disruptions due to the pandemic, I am unsatisfied with their response and so-called "timely service". Despite continued attempts at contact, I never received a reply from the business advising me that they were experiencing disruptions until March 2, 2022, when the business sent me an email stating that I must set up billing before March 4, 2022 lest I receive a financial penalty. Never before in my life have I had such a hard time trying to pay anyone. ******************************************************************************************************************************************* That being said, as of March 2nd I have been able to pay them, so in this regard my issue has been solved.
