Purchased two pairs of glasses 31 Jan 22 for ***** ****** (wife of *****) - one clear complete, one sunglass lenses only (at least two weeks for glasses to be delivered to store). Purchased one pair of clear glasses for ***** ****** at same time (returned 21 Jul for full refund due faulty frames). Lenses were incorrect for both pairs of *****'s glasses. When worn, caused dizziness/vertigo. Returned glasses to store - lenses were replaced (at least two weeks to replace). Lenses still incorrect and returned to store again. At least another two weeks to attempt fix. Glasses still unusable. Phoned Thurs 02 Jun - first advisory that we wanted to return glasses for a full refund. I advised we would be travelling 07 to 22 Jun and would bring glasses back on return. iDesigns called back on 07 Jun, just as we were entering U.S. Customs (driving - no cell phone area). I advised we didn't want the glasses and would be returning for full refund. They said we had had them too long for a refund - I advised they had had them for half the time making/fixing them. Phoned iDesigns on 23 Jun and returned glasses early Jul. I said we don't want them, in anticipation of a full refund - store owner/manager, Ms ***** *********, was not present then. In later "negotiations" ***** said nothing wrong with lenses and suspected prescription was in error. ***** offered "best I can do" 50% refund, since we had had them longer than six months - I reviewed the dates with her and it was actually five months. We rejected offer and I said see you in Small Claims Court. ***** had eyes retested 25 Jul with identical results, so prescription not at fault. I conveyed this to staff at iDesigns in person (where staff member stated "... it's probably the way they ground the lenses") and via email. No call back from iDesigns. Visited on 23 Aug, ***** apparently no longer has *****'s glasses and will not refund the $820 cost. She has both the glasses and our money and seems to think this is not a problem.
