TM Roofing was working on a house down the street and I requested a quote for my roof. I searched online and found no issues with company. My contacts at TM Roofing were ****** ******* and ******** *******. They appeared to be an honest, reliable and very pleasant young couple. I signed a contract for a new flat roof with TM Roofing on June 6, 2023 and provided 50% payment. The quote was $9,500. A 50% down payment was required due to the current high cost of supplies. The job was postponed from June 10 due to rain but was completed on June 17. ****** did the roof himself saying help(ers) was "no show". I suggested it was a difficult job and he could postpone. ****** implied he was booked up and it couldn't wait. At end of day ****** said the roof was finished. He was missing a piece of capping and would send 2 of his guys to complete as he was going away on the weekend. He asked for the balance of payment and guaranteed work completion. I paid the balance by cheque. His guys didn't show but ****** did come to finish the roof. He left equipment behind and said he would return with help. Multiple requests by telephone and email to ******/******** in July and August for removal of his equipment received no response. My neighbor's roof was done at the end of September by a well known roofing company and I asked his roofers to remove whatever was on my roof. There was a 100 lb roof roller, a large pail of sealant, garbage as well as the large extension ladder left behind. I was also advised that my roof was not done properly, was falling apart and I should contact my roofer immediately to fix it. Neither ****** or ******** have responded to numerous emails or telephone messages to date. I now have to look for another roof inspection and quote for repair or replacement, whatever is required. The $9,500 I paid to TM Roofing and the 10 year warranty will be a huge loss to me. I would not recommend TM Roofing (****** ******* and ******** *******).
