I've been a loyal customer since 2020, renting a vehicle at least once a month. 1) I'd go to pickup or drop off a vehicle and the location would be closed 2) 2x I waited 30 mins for them to bring a car from another location 3) Sept 2021 - my reservation was cancelled 2 days prior to pick up 4) July 2022 - they didn't honour the price of the rental I made in November using a Black Friday discount code 5) they told me to take my business elsewhere

We have accommodated and provided services to Ms. ********* for a long time. Black Friday promo code applied to rentals picked up in November and December as per the clear terms and conditions. Ms. ********* took advantage of a glitch in our system and continued abusing the promo code and booked vehicles all year round using that promo code. It was explained to Ms. ********* many times in different shapes and forms about the situation but she continued with her ******** act. Since she didn't want to accept anything, we had to part ways and we wished her the best. We do not take her ********** against our reputation lightly and will take legal action accordingly.

Advantage's response is a distortion of the truth. I'd like to see a copy of the terms and conditions in the email that was sent to me in November 2021 with the promo code information. I don't recall reading the terms and conditions, so if I didn't do my diligence, I will gladly apologize for not reading them. However, regardless of the terms and conditions, their system still allowed my bookings in the future. I didn't take 'advantage' or 'abuse' the promo code. I planned in advance, which is exactly what they promote on their website in an article titled "The Do's and Don'ts of Renting a car". Threatening legal action further shows their inability to admit they were wrong and are unwilling to take any accountability. Defamation of reputation means I have provided false statements, which I have not. I have several emails to prove the accuracy of my complaints. The appropriate response from Advanatage would have been to honour the promo code booking for July and not allow that promo for the remaining 2022 bookings. That would have been a reasonable compromise. Unfortunately, when I proposed this, it was declined. This would have saved time and I wouldn't have submitted this complaint. They've lost a loyal customer over a $24 discount.
