Whiteway was contracted in August 2022 to perform a repair after the water service line ruptured under our driveway, eventually causing a sinkhole to appear and rapidly increase in size. In September, Whiteway had their paving contractor arrive to tear up the driveway to prepare for their excavation, repaving was part of Whiteways scope of work and was to be provided by their contractor, ****** paving. Shortly thereafter Whiteway was on site to perform the repair. ***** was very professional, showed me the ruptured piece of pipe, explained and showed me the repair and explained that they would complete the backfill of the excavation and ****** would be in touch regarding scheduling the paving. In October ****** performed the paving of the driveway and all seemed great. On December 31, 2022 I went outside to discover the driveway had sunk approximately 6 inches at the site of the excavation. Logan, from Whiteway, came out 1 or 2 days later and looked at it, he said that is exactly where he had excavated for repair and they would look after it as it obviously had not been compacted enough. The next day ****** paving had a representative come by and partially fill the hole with gravel and cold patch to mitigate liability and trip hazards. Since then I have heard nothing. I have emailed repeatedly, I have sent the owner and Logan voice-mail, I have sent text messages to the owner, Gavin. All contact has been severed by them and I still have a hole in my brand new driveway.Initial Complaint

Whiteway was paid for the vast majority of work while we were out of town. When we arrived on site for our inspection it was found that Work paid for was not complete to the product specification (Steam shower ******** substrate not installed with any seals to prevent moisture causing mold, barn door installed too small to cover bathroom and missing steam shower control panel worth $1400). Whiteway was informed of the deficiency and was asked to correct the issue. After several months of correspondence with no action to resolve there has been a full stop in the companies communication with us. This is a $19,850 dollar project that at this point cannot even be used as it will cause damage to the house. It will cost us even more if we are to have someone else correct it as the entire shower must be deconstructed and rebuilt and tiled to specification.
