On November 13, 2021, I placed an online order through Canada Shooting Supply's website for an ******** Air gun, totaling $603.07 including price, taxes and shipping costs. During the checkout process, there is an opportunity to supply Order Notes (in this box it gives the example of "special notes for delivery"). The notes I supplied were "Please leave the delivery in the RV trailer on the far side of the u shaped driveway. Our dog's name is Vader and the door to the trailer is out of his wireless collar range.". I learned later when receiving confirmation of shipment that an adult signature would be required for this item. When the package arrived on Friday November 19, 2021, these instructions were not followed, and noone although noone was home at the time, the delivery was left within the range of the dog. The dog then proceeded to tear apart the package, damaging a replaceable rubber butt stock and one of the arrows that came with this gun. I sent pictures of the damage to the seller and requested that they replace the two minor items, since the delivery instructions were not followed. The reply I received was "The instructions you provided on the order cannot be passed on to the courier companies. They do not take such instructions from anyone as it will be impossible for them to run a delivery business if they have to cater to customized delivery requests for the recipients. So there is nothing that anyone can do to follow the delivery instructions." The options I was given was to buy the parts and pay for shipping myself from the gun manufacturer, or return the product for a refund. This product is highly sought after and sold out for months at all suppliers, so I am not inclined to return it. I believe that this seller has provided false advertising that delivery instructions can be provided, but then does not honor those instructions when given. I believe that my delivery request was reasonable, and request compensation to cover the parts noted
