>Date of Transaction: Feb, 2022 >Total Cost quoted for this job: $6,500 >The amount I paid the business for driveway Interlocking (first 2 payments): - Feb. 01, 2022: $2000 - Feb. 23, 2022: $2000 -The contractor said he needs to purchase the material in advance (due to shortage in the market), I was provided a Sales Quote from '********************************.' dated 31 Jan 2022 for $4,3471.11 I then made a total of $4,000 as down payment, I was constantly harassed to make payments. I called ***** today, this purchase was not made. >What the business committed to provide me: - An Upgraded Driveway, by demolishing the old one and doing a new one with interlocking from the ***** supplier quote. - 2 bottom steps of my front stairway >What the nature of the dispute: -He first dumped the gravel on the road in April 2022 and vanished -On May 12 2022- He dug up my driveway, and put gravel, now driveway is sinking He took out my last cement/concrete steps and put mud -Almost every day texted or called him, to check if he will come over to complete the job. -Initially he said 'weather was not good', then he said so many jobs he is stuck -Then he started rescheduling -Beginning of the week he says, things broke down (Equipment, Truck etc.) -End of the week, he gave the same break-down excuses and pushes to the next week >Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: He has not done anything, even after I told him: -there is mess on the road and this is in violation of city by-laws as ************************************************************************************************ **************************************************************************************************************** -I am approaching Better Business Bureau for a resolution *************************************************************************************************************************************************** -to return my Cash as he is not able to do the jobInitial Complaint

*************************************************************************************************************** we did contract with view star interlocking and landscaping on 15th September 2021 to do interlocking at my place when we sign contract he told me I can finish job within one week he start his job on 16th September 2021 to clear soil and grass at my place and ask me to give 50% deposits of $4500 I did E transfer $2500 to his bank account and $2000 I give check to his company name view star *** interlocking. he took two days to do this after two day raining and full of water in my backyard I told him my backyard is full of water he says I am coming to pump out water but he did not come. when he start his job on 16th September 2021 he bring some gravel and small(HP) stone he put stone on sideway on road on 20th September 2021 ********* city council people come to visit our community he see gravel and stone on sideway of road he ask me do you have permit for what you putting on sideway of road I told his I don't have you can ask my interlocking guys I give his number to city council people he call him and ask about permit but he did not have permit second day he came and remove all gravel and stone he put all gravel and stone in my backyard and front side it was to wet but he put and he told me let it dry it then we can finish I told him ok after some days I see it dry I call him to come and see my place it's dry he told me I am coming but he did not come I call him and he says I have another job to finish I told him you not finish my job how you can do author job my family get trouble to go in out from our backyard we need to jump into backyard to go in garage *************************************************** I call him and text him its happened with my family he says I am coming but he did not comeback to my place **************************************************************************************** so please can you help me. ********************
