On Oct 26, 2023 I ordered a Glass Kit for a **** Plymouth Duster that was advertised on Muscle Cars and Classics website. The website showed a "complete" glass kit for a vehicle and you had to select your vehicle from a drop down list to acquire the right product. I selected the proper glass for the vehicle. The description on the website had a disclaimer that that the "actual glass may differ from picture" however it still clearly showed a "complete" glass set for a vehicle. When I received my order it was the correct glass however there were two pieces of glass missing (quarter panel glass). I contacted the company and they followed up on the issue. They came back later and told me their supplier told them that these two glass were the only two not included in the set. I indicated that two similar glass for the quarter panels were clearly shown in the description on their website. After a number of conversations with them they told me I could purchase the two missing glass for an additional $500 including taxes and shipping. I declined. After more conversations and me threatening to cancel another $2800 pending order they said they would see what they could do. They have since told me that the two missing glass are not available any more. This leaves me with a partial set of glass for a vehicle restoration which is absolutely useless to me. I am requesting to have the two missing glass supplied or a comparable refund including shipping and taxes so I can purchase them elsewhere (Approx $500 based on their initial quote). If this is not an option I would like a complete refund ($3800). *********** has a "No Return Policy" on glass even though it was not my mistake. The product ad has since been removed from their website. Order # ********* Invoice # ****-0053068000 *********** has declined to do anything to assist me and continues to blame their supplier even though it was clearly advertised on their website. Better Business Bureau:
The company have contacted me in response to complaint ID ********. They have committed to providing me with the two missing glass pieces at no cost to me and also providing a $100 in store credit. I have not received the products to date however, should they follow through on their commitment, this resolution is satisfactory to me.
