I purchased a 2011 ****** ***** vehicle from a private seller. Her name is *************. She had told me that her mechanic had been taking care of the said vehicle since she purchased it. We agreed to get the vehicle safety from her mechanic which is the MG auto service. The auto service provided me with a safety. I drove the vehicle for 2 days and noticed an issue. I took the vehicle back to the mechanic and he seemed to know the issue right away. He said we needed to replace the transmission and engine mount which costs about 1000$. I asked him if these parts were part of safety which he confirmed that they were. He continued to explain that the previous owner didn't complain about the issue and since the mounts weren't broke he passed the safety. However the mounts are loose meaning it's faulty and needs to be replaced. Furthermore He assured me nothing will happened if I drive with the loose transition and engine mount which is also alarming. This vehicle should have never passed safety without the replacement of these parts. This was a tied selling as he over looked some major issues just to help his client sell her vehicle. He is not taking any responsibility for the issue and I believe he is responsible as I trusted him doing the safety with honesty. Please help me with this matter as I have paid 8,500$ for the vehicle and it broke down within the first 2 week. ****************************************************Business response
