My 2012 Dodge Journey was brought to Worldwide transmission for repair. Our car's *********** was slipping and the car not running properly. ***********, the owners son called my husband and said he took off the tray, fixed a leak and filled our transmission with fluid and the car was running.Picked up the car that evening and paid the balance. The following the day the car was leaking transmission fluid again. My husband called and spoke to *********** who said that there was nothing they could do about it. While on the phone, my husband asked *********** what exactly was done to the car that cost $550.35 . *********** was unable to answer his question. My husband explained that he would bring the car in as soon as he could ( he works shift work) to have them take a look at it again together. on April 6, my car was undrivable again. On April 8th My husband brought the car back to World Wide and ************ refused to explain to us what he did to out car and how he fixed it. We paid to have it fixed and nothing was done. We brought it to another mechanic locally on April 8th who confirmed that the transmission tray was never opened and they can confirm that no work was done. I do not have any problem paying for someone to fix my car. We paid, and it still is not fixed nor will the owners explain what they did to my car for ******. we were 100% ripped off by this company. The invoice states " ************** We don't know what they serviced. And how they fixed my car? Paid ****** for the same issues to happen immediately. After looking into this company, i realized we are not the only customers who have been scammed. $****** is need back so I can fix my car to get myself to work and my children to school. We feel we paid $550.35 for *********** fluid top up. My car is not fixed - just empty pockets

******************** came in on Mon. 4/8/24. I looked at his invoice and scanned his car and found he has new codes which were gear ratio errors. These codes were not here when it came in. We showed him the codes that were still on our computer. I told **** that we would take the $550.35 off the overhaul. He became rude and started swearing and yelling. After he calmed down, I told him we would put his car up ************ and he could look at the pan. After showing him the pan he left. He came back Tues. and told me he had the pan looked at by a mechanic. I told him to go back to the mechanic or have him come here and we would show him it was removed. Again he started swearing and threatening me. I told him World Wide did the best at that time and it would usually be the fix for his problem. Not all repairs work out 100%. **** was told at the time of the repair that there was no warranty on a repair job. World Wide could have told him at the time he needed a complete rebuilt unit installed. Instead we tried to repair the trans to help him out. As far as a mechanic telling him the pan wasn't taken off, that's not true and I told him to take it to a trans shop. Again, I told him I would take the total invoice off of an overhaul. World Wide will not give him anything back or will not do overhaul for him and don't come here again or we will call the police.

      Yours truly,

      *********************************

*********** was not even present when my car was originally brought in .  His son took care of me for the time it was there.   ****  has no idea what was done to my car.    This should have a been a service charge  since *************** tells me my transmission is fine but was low on fluid !   He charged me $480 for a fluid fill   He did NOT drop the pan to check for metal shavings etc.   this was verified by another shop.   His son mentioned that there were numerous codes on the scanner     Vary and I did NOT compare the last scan with this scan. He could say whatever he wants.  He could have printed out both scans.  The car behaved the exact same way so the scans are irrelevant .  So what he is saying is nonsense  and a complete lie.
I was polite until I mentioned that I dont think the pan was dropped for inspection , thats when he became rude towards a customer and then of course I got angry but never threats.  Another lie

$480 service charge and no warranty ?  **** picks and chooses when to give a warranty it seems
his son told me if the pan is leaking again there is no warranty !   Well thats because he didnt drop the pan and put a new gasket either l.   If he did, it wouldnt be leaking still.   No fix and $480 plus tax out the door   I deserve my money back 100%  I was completely taken advantage of

Here are some pictures that the current mechanic at the shop just emailed me

      The filter is clogged 100%.
if *********** and word *************** did remove the tray as they stated they did they would have seen the issue.

When **** was here the second time, I had the scanner tilted to the side so he could see the codes. Sr. also showed him the second scan with gear ratio errors. Sr. tried to tell him that World Wide did a service to try and help him and we would take the price of the invoice off of an overhaul. He has now had the pan taken off and it's full of material. He should have the shop mechanic call ************ They could take the part number off the filter and that would prove we replaced it. Sr. will no longer talk or email him anymore. **** has no idea what is going on with his transmission. Sr. will be glad to talk to any tech he has and explain what has happened.

I was charged $480 for a transmission service   As it was explained on the accounting invoice and not an actual  receipt.  No description of what was done at all to my car !    No estimate before hand or anything which violates the rules I believe !    When a transmission is acting up , the transmission shop should scan the codes and drop the pan to see if the filter is clogged which the man told me on the phone he would do since that sounds like what was happening !    Well I uploaded the photos and clearly the pan was not opened ,  there is dirty old fluid , and the filter was dirty/clogged.    ********************* was not even present during the time my car was brought but claims the transmission pan was of course opened for inspection which we know it wasnt !
I was ripped off   All the evidence is there

A side by side comparison of codes means nothing !   ********** was done to my car plain and simple  except for checking codes and clearing them  !  Thats it  $ 480 later !!

the invoice does not show that the pan was dropped ,  or that a new filter with part number was installed.  **** is delusional !!   He suggested a complete new transmission    Well now my transmission is working properly again with a new filter and fluid  thanks to the shop I brought it to afterwards !!!!
