This store has a good collection of dresses, but regarding service, I got extremely bad experience. I was trying one of the nice dresses but did not like the way this dress was sitting on my body. Store workers were assuring that all necessary alteration will be made; so, the dress will be sitting on me perfectly. Just after 30 minutes, I regrated that I made this purchase, called the store, and was told that the seamstress is already working on the dress and it's too late to reverse anything. Now, I know that it was not truth. For the whole month I was under stress because the alteration I was asking for was not made. Instead, they were doing it the way they like. I was told "This is how it has to be". They were refusing to shorten the drees, applying decorations on the wrong side on the back, etc. When I asked to make some particular things, pointing out that I need to do this this way, on the next fitting day it was not done. When I was telling that I do not feel comfortable, I was told that "You do not have to be comfortable". The salesperson Leena was smiling all the time and assuring that the dress will be done as I want, bit it was not done. Maria, seamstress, was very nice from the beginning, but after few fittings, when I said that the dress needs to be alternated the way I like, told me that she will not alternate the way I like and she will hide from me. Finally, few days before the weeding, I was told that the seamstress needs to leave the country because of the personal reason. I had to take the dress that I cannot dress. By the store personal opinion the dress was ok, but , in my opinion, it was not because it was not done the way I asked from the beginning. The dress cost me CAD 4,000.00. For such expensive dress, I was expecting to get a proper alteration. I am extremely disappointed that I went to Chez Jordan store to make a purchase for the important event in my life. I see that the store workers are interested to get commissions from the sales only.
