Fair Deal came highly recommended by a neighbour. I emailed Fair Deal and Ash was quick to respond. He inspected our old A/C and made recommendations, without trying to upsell me. He happily explained technical items and made it easy to understand, and encouraged lots of questions. I contacted a couple of other companies to do some comparison shopping and wasn't impressed. Ash was very honest, provided a fair price, and was very responsive by phone, email and text. Finally, his team was efficient and tidy with the installation. When I have other HVAC needs in the future, I'll definitely contact Fair Deal again!

I've had the pleasure to interact with Ash/newlyborn from Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning in regards to getting a new furnace.

I've actually spoken to Ash several times before getting my furnace; once was when I needed a bit of assistance installing a **** Thermostat in place of a proprietary carrier thermostat already installed when I first moved in. He also had come to troubleshoot some issues with my in-law's AC unit in the middle of a heatwave. And now, recently, he came to assist with my furnace.

I had woken up one morning and it was frigid. I went down to my furnace and with some troubleshooting, it had to do something with the unit not being able to turned on due to some issue with the burner of some sort. I had called Ash and he immediately called me back when he had a chance. He immediately knew the issue and had sent me a ******* service bulletin. Fortunately, my unit was on that service bulletin, but unfortunately, it was not within the serial numbers that had the warranty service extended for the issue. He had provided me some options, and decided to replace the furnace as it was over 16 years old at this point.

I wasn't expecting him to come any time soon as it was extremely sudden and he had just come back from vacation, but he was able to get someone to come and install the furnace the very next day. *************************************************************** *********************************************

His team came in installed the furnace within around 4 hours. I didn't know better, I wouldn't have known someone had come into the house and installed a furnace; it was that clean! They removed all the old equipment, installed the new one, inspected a lot of piping an hosing and installed some replacements for me without me even asking. They were courteous, meticulous and extremely professional. Within ours, my wife and toddler were able to come back to a warm house and many, many headaches were prevented.

after calling a bunch of companies Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning was the only company that answered all my questions (multiple ones), I had some companies stop replying after 1 or 2 questions which may reflect their customer service if you have an issue. I had 1 or 2 companies bashing ******* & trying to push their own brand *************************************.

After going through these companies I called in Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning & Ash came by the same day so he could view our setup. At this point I was set on a 2 stage 60,000btu furnace (From an 80,000btu furnace which was over sized for our home and lots of issues) He had a look, measured some duct work and explained to me he highly recommends going with a 40,000btu due to restricted/small duct work in our home which is another reason why we had been having lots of issues with our old furnace. At first I was reluctant to drop down to 40,000btu thinking our home would not heat up enough however after he explained it all it made sense and I agreed. After talking some more we decided to add a new humidifier (since ours never worked) & new filter box.

Ash was ready to send his workers 2 days later to install our new furnace however I threw an odd request at him, I needed the old furnace removed the night before so I could parge the wall around it with cement & add some insulation since its going to be the last time for many years where we will have the chance to do this. That night his crew passed by and removed the old furnace for us without any questions at no extra cost!. The next day they showed up in the morning when they said they would & installed the new furnace and did some custom duct work. While installing they noticed the old HVAC company that was here did not even glue some of the joints in the intake and exhaust pipes it clearly shows that the prior company did not care & rushed.

Overall VERY happy with everything, great fast honest service & not up sells. Will use them again!
