In August, 2022 I requested a quote from Unilux VFC for a heat pump in my condo. They came and measured my space to confirm requirements for a retrofit. |I duly received my quote and noticed they had not charged HST on the unit, only on the 3 yr. extended warranty portion. I emailed to point this out to them, to give them a chance to correct. No response, so |I went ahead and signed on August 9th, 2022. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks. After 5 weeks I touched base, and was told by Matthew K. they had trouble procuring parts from their supplier. Was told in December they had to come and measure. Told them that had already been done, and they found the specs. Finally they said my order had been sent to production. Now it is March, and told it is ready, and what is my availability. Told them if it couldn't be installed in 10 days, it would have to wait as I was going on holiday until May 14th. No reply. When I got back I said I was available any day, any time. Only one communication .since, saying he was trying to get an install arranged forJune7-9. No appt. arranged, and no apology. Still has not been installed, despite an email to the Gen. Mgr. Devin C. for help, and also by letter to the owner, Les W. Devin C. was cc's on every email from day one, so was aware, *** ******* ********** * ******** * *** * ** **** *** ******* No response...**** ****** *** *** ****** *** **** ****** **** ***** ***** *** ***** ** *** ******** ***** ** *** ******** **** A quote is a binding contract, so I was stymied from going elsewhere.
