    Dec. 7th was when I first contacted Lifewise. The owner ******* contacted me back. I wanted to ask if she was still in business and how it worked. She told me about it and the cost. I was only interested if it was covered by insurance. She told me it was covered under Naturopathy. I said ok let me look up my plan and get back to her. I then looked it up and emailed her back saying yes I have coverage for Naturopaths. She answered with Great, **** and continued on. I paid her $125 to start and was to follow up with $325. She gave me a receipt that said she was a part of the Alliance Professional of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists out of Quebec. I paid her Dec. 8th and got the receipt Dec. 9th. I submitted it to my insurance and they rejected it. I told her this. I said they told me you don't have the correct credentials. She said oh none of my clients have ever had a problem. I was warned however that there are a couple companies out of Alberta that don't cover this. She said is your insurance company out of Alberta? I said I don't know. I then looked it up and they are out of Manitoba. She had done up what she calls the protocol and had this available on her app (the better app). A lot of our conversations were then taking place in the app. I told her I really needed that money back because I was only able to afford this if it went through my insurance. I reached out to my insurance to get clarification. They said it's covered in Quebec only and that they don't cover Naturotherapists. I messaged her to ask if she was a Naturopath or a Naturotherapist. She said I am the latter. I said well that's why I'm not covered. I mentioned I had told her I have coverage for Naturopaths and she responded great! She then said oh your insurance is from Manitoba (which I knew now) and yeah they don't cover me. I feel misled during the entire process and I feel as though it is false advertising and now she won't give me my money back after asking multiple times.
