      On August 21 there was a refund of $184 made to my account, but that account was closed the first of July and was confirmed by bank. The **** on university ave is the bank. **** has said they have looked into it and have stated once an account is closed anything would just bounce back and they do not have it. I have been back and forth 5 times and apparently this money just vanished. I have saved messages from **** and emails from Birkenstock both claiming to not have it. Please help me find resolution and receive my momey back.

      I purchased my mom a pair of birkenstock slippers for her last Christmas. By Jan 4th they needed to be returned to **** ***s, which immediately said they were flawed and we upgraded to new pair (only 1/2 money back from gift card). In total they were 110.99. When I saw her on Christmas day the slippers were falling apart! All the cushion inside was gone and there was a hole! I tried to contact birkenstock and was told their footwear lasts a year...maybe 2! Then I was dismissed. This is insane! She barely walks! The slippers have NEVER seen outside, and with mobility issues barely walked in, inside! I just want my mom to have a good pair of slippers so her feet dont hurt. Please help me!

      Birkenstock will offer a replacement for any footwear that is deemed defective within a year of purchase. However, we do not cover replacements for wear and tear issues. Due to many factors walking patterns, proper care, etc.

      In the case of **** ******, her purchase was made on 1/4/22 at the retailer **** ***. Any retail purchases need to be returned to the retailer they were purchased from and then the store Manager would contact us if they feel the shoe is defective.

      In the case of **** ******, she contacted us on Dec 28, 2022 asking for a replacement. We notified her through email of our return policy. **** then sent photos and after review of the footwear there was extreme wear and tear, a hole in the toe which unfortunately is not covered for replacement. 

      Our final decision is that due to the condition of the footwear, we cannot offer a replacement or refund.

      I bought Birkenstock sandals in June. I waited to wear them for my vacation. I have 7 pairs of Birkenstock and never I had a problem. These cuts my skin between the toes. I try to explain to customer service but they said no for exchanging them. I had to buy a pair of sandals in Florida cause there are defective for sure. The customer service I received is not acceptable. I even sent pictures of the sandals to show there were no used. Not no again. I don’t understand why I was refused when I know something is wrong. I paid 125.00 for something I will never use. Yes i want somebody to get back to me. I don’t accept the answer. Never in my life I would off thought to be treated that way. Sadly I will never buy your shoes again and I am thinking of calling my credit card to contest that nobody wanted to help me. I am converted under the warranty of a defective product. Thanks for getting back to me ********* ***** *** ********

      I have tried to contact customer service about an exchange for the sandals I purchased. They do not fit and I need a smaller size. I have been calling Birkenstock for a few weeks daily and I the customer service number provided does not yield any results. I leave voice mail which is the only option the customer service number will take me to. I have emailed the customer service email provided and that does not produce results either.

      I ordered shoes from Birkenstock Canada Ltd. Jul30/21 (order ref# ********, $145.60). I live in military barracks where we have a box number only. As the company does not ship to a PO Box #, I had to have them shipped to Port Alberni, then Victoria, BC, receiving the order Sep18. The shoes are too small, and their online system does not allow me to initiate a return, so I emailed the company on Sep18 and received a reply from ******* on Sep21 saying to return them and if I need help to let them know. I’ve reached out to them via email several times and they have not responded. I’ve tried to contact them by phone numerous times and have not spoken to anyone. I’ve left several messages and also tried to find a contact through local store for Birkenstock (no success). I originally wanted to exchange for a larger size but now am so frustrated I just want to return them and get my money back. * ******* ******** ********* ** *************
