      * ******* * ** * ****** ** ***** ** ******* *** ****** ** ** ** **** ********** **** ** ** ****I paid over $3,000 and most in cash for him to come and fix my heating. After $3,000 he did not solve the problem. I called another company and they fixed my heating in one hour and did not even charge me! I have all the chat correspondence to confirm and two e-transfer receipts from my bank totalling about $1,350. He just wasted time in my house not fixing anything and not solving the problem. He referred another guy to my house who tool $450 from me and didn't fix a thing. Just walked around my house telling me my square footage and closing open vents.

First I am an Hv technician. Hv on hvac means heat and ventilation technician. ****** *** **** **** ** ***** **** ******** ******* *** *** *** **** ** ************* *** ******** On top of that the clients is lying about everything i fix a lot of stuff%2c they had no heating at all at my arrival and the thermostat they got installed was no good for that system. I explained everything even before i got there. No i was not going to fix the heatpump it was an after hour job and about 8pm. I told them an heatpump is good only %28depending on the model but their modelwas like that%29 no going to function under minus 12 degrees %28Celsius%29 so there%27s no point of fixing it now because it was minus 18 degrees. When i got there%2c their air handler %28we can compare that to an electric furnace%29 was not working at all because the thermostat to just got put in was broken and the wiring not done properly. **** ** *** ******** the installer cut all wiring even at the jonctions box for the heatpump sensor that is supposed to switch the system to electric heating under minus 12 degrees. The heatpump and and electric heating were working at the same time because of the bad wiring. So i fix temporarily and explained what to do to get heat manually untill i come back and replace the thermostat%2c sensors and jonctions box. Everything was find with them%2c because i told them every job like that is step by step. When something is not working you fix it and find the next problem until everything works. I came back installed the thermostat but when i got the other thermostat off we can feel really cold wind coming out of the wall. That explained why the temperature on the thermostat was wrong all the time. So the client put insulation to prevent the air from the attic to affect the thermostat and the way it would of work%2c the thermostat had 6 degrees on the screen. We fix it but then the furnace was working only 50%25 so 2 heating element out of 4 we%27re working so i fix that two. Then was the turn of the heatpump i look at the pressures but the pressure were really low so i told them i will send a professional that fix those problems all the time because that was over my knowledge. ***** got there the day after and told me the machine is over 10 years old and there%27s a lot of stuff to do to fix it. He even found a air intake that was bringing air from outside inside. No wonder why they paid %28they said 5-600%24 a month in heating%29 the best thing to do was to replace the machine with a new one because of the leak he found. He fixed it but asked them how much money you want to waste on a old machine like that%3f They said nomore. So ****** started to be mad because the electric heating was more expensive then the heatpump and she wanted the heatpump to work no the electric. So i told them to go after the last home owners because they just bought the house and everything was supposed to work at their arrival. I dont know nothing more that she try to blame me of being a duct cleaner no license and still from her... so i hope you will understand that she did the same to me talking against the last home owners and the last company that came and %22did nothing%22. I even call the owner of the company that came to install the thermostat because I know the owner to tell him before she tries to get her money back saying it was me telling her to call them. Even if the understood everything i did because they fallow me while i was working. Everything was ok until i dont know who spent an hour there and told them everything i did was not ok and rewired everything %28there%27s more than one way to make a system work%29 and i dont know if this is true because she is lying now. ** ***** ****** ** ************ ** *** **** *** ********* ***** ***

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: There are several reasons... 1) He refuses to share his professional licenses and accreditation with me. * **** ********* *** ********* ** ****** * *** **** *** ***** *** *** * ** ******* ******** ******* ******* *** ***** *** ****** ******** *** ** ** ******* ** ** ****** **** ** ***** ***********  2) He claims to be the "business partner" of the company who initially installed our HVAC. They have been to my house THREE TIMES since he apparently "fixed" our problems. I told them he charged me over $3,000 and most in cash and they laughed saying the work he did is nowhere near $3,000 and that he is a ***** because he really wanted to be paid in cash. 3) His "****" friend he sent over was out of pressure. He told me **** was very busy and that he probably wouldn't be able to come to see me for a few weeks so it was today or not at all. Based on that I agreed. He tried to charge me $867 for a 90-minute visit. I said that was not right at all. Then he agreed to discount it by 50% so I still paid the $460 but this time by e-transfer and not til the following day. Jerico sent me many text messages asking for when I was going to make the payment to him and thought I was ignoring him. **** ** ** ********* **** **** ** ** * ***** ****** **** ******* *****. 4) When **** came he didn't even come prepared. He started measuring the square footage of my home using his feet! It is ridiculous. He didn't know the age of my heat pump, he asked me. He claimed there was a leak but it was because a valve was not tight enough! So how can Jericho claim this **** is a "heat pump expert" when he lives in Ontario, doesn't use heat pumps and even admitted this to me, and things there is a leak when it's just a valve that is not tight enough. A 5-year old could have figured that out and for that I had to pay $460.

I am working on this situation with my current HVAC company who have been very good at coming in to fix my problems and charging me honestly for their work. THey are fixing Jericho's mistakes in the wiring which they said was a complete mess like a maze.

They have disconnected the heat pump for now and I am only using the air handler. They took the air handler from 50% to 100% and showed me the gauge with the numbers on it. Jerico did not fix the air handler as he claims he did. It was still functioning at 50% after he did the work. The original HVAC company fixed it! Furthermore, the original company said I don't need the heat pump if the air handler is working fine. So, if the heat pump doesn't need to be used, then why was Jerico so fussed about fixing it? He should have told me I can choose to use the air handler 100% but instead he convinced me the air handler was very very expensive source of heat and therefore he had to fix the heat pump so my energy bill will go down. But since having the original HVAC company into my house, they say the heat pump is best used to reduce energy bills over the LONG TERM, not the immediate term, and therefore disconnected it because it wasn't working properly. Because Jerico knew he couldn't fix the heat pump and that's why he sent his useless friend over, according to him it was just a good way for me to continue to give him money for work he was not licensed to do.

Everything that lady said is a lie, she is the one asking to fix the heatpump because they were supposedly paying 5-600$ a month in November an December. I explained them the first thing to do is to give you heat, because the air handler was not working at all. And then maybe fix the heatpump, but fixing the heatpump now was not an option because a heatpump dosen't work under minus 12, so it wont start anyways. And they forgot to said that in the money they pay was 1000$ worth of parts like new thermostat, sensors, wiring, ect. I am very comfortable with the jon i did. And like i told in my last answer i bet that they will have to call another company again because the problem couldn't be fix in 1 hour like she said the other company said they did. And i predict the problem will be persistent and what did she just wrote; the company came back 3 time and disconnect the heatpump because its no working properly. So i have nothing else to say. My friend ***** is an heatpump expert and was looking at the square footage of the house to make sure the sizing of the machine was ok. Other then that she is mad because she continued paying money to other companies to fix a problem that cannot be solve and she has to be mad at someone. *** *** * **** ***** *** ***** ** **** *** ********* * **** ** **** ***** ** *** **** ******* ******** ** **** ****

      Complaint: ********

      I am rejecting this response because he did not fix the problem. I never saw any kind of receipt for the thermostat. I never saw any receipt for the wires. He never itemized anything so I didn't know what I was paying for. He charged over $3,000 mostly in cash and did not fix the problem. I am happy to accept a refund for this as he also quoted me $150 per hour of work yet charged $250. * ** ***** ** **** *** ** ***** ****** ***** **** **** ** * **** ******* ****** ** * ****** *** ** ***** ** ****** ** ************** ******* ** *** ******** ******* ** * *********** **** ******* *******
