      Hello, I went to the dollarama on 1370 South Service Road in Stoney Creek Ontario on April 10, 2024. I purchased 3 X $50 **** * ** gift cards. During the process of scanning the cards (each was done on a separate transaction) the cashier scanned one of the gift cards ** ***************** twice. At this point I had already tapped by debit card and saw the “approved” message on the screen. The cashier acknowledged she had scanned the same card twice and called her supervisor. The supervisor reassured me by showing the receipt pointing to the message “card already active” and “transaction not completed”, however she failed to notice at the bottom of the receipt that the debit transaction however was approved (authorization # 2739). I trusted the supervisor and left. The gift cards were given away as prizes later that evening at a party. We only realized we had been charged for the same card twice when we got the notification from our bank of double charges. As seen on the receipts for the transaction at 11:18:52 the card number was already Activated at 11:17:04. The authorization numbers for the transactions also match our bank statement. Ive been to the original location on April 15, 2024 and they advised they cannot do anything and to reach out to customer service. I’ve left two voice messages (April 14, 2024 & April 22, 2024) to sort this matter, neither have been returned. I’ve exchanged multiple emails with customer service with supporting receipts and bank statement but was advised since I need to provide images of the gift card “ Unless you can provide us with the following information so that we may look into the matter we can not process request”. I no longer have the gifts cards as they were given away. I’m kindly requesting only the return of the $50.00 CDN that was wrongfully charged to the debit card for the same gift card as a result of an error of their employee.       I went to Dollarama ******* a week ago. I purchased lots of items. Among the items 10 cans of beans. When I was loading the items to the cash, the cashier push the items to the side to make more space for herself. When he push the items one can of beans fell on my foot. I was wearing sandals. I felt like someone had hammered my toes. I called head office to relate the incident. I spoke with ********. I was polite and composed. I was wondering if the store would compensate me for some hours of work missed. She was rude. She was talking over me. Shouting. I was still composed and pointed at her that I had understud that there was no need to be rude. After all I was the person hurt. And there was absolutely no compassion from her part. No words of apology at all for the incident that has crippled me for an entire week. I felt my inciden was completely disregarded. I am still hurting and she did not care.
