On Jan 20, 2022 in the evening I parked my car on the ****** *** parking lot. After shopping back, I found my car battery was dead and also transmission shift was locked. Because it was quite late night and it was extrem cold, despite I tried many ways to resolve the problems, it turns out I had no choice to leave my car in the public parking place overnight and planned to return back the next day to fix it. Before deciding to leave my car overnight, I checked around about warning sign, there was no any signs indicating no overnight parking, only sign from towing company saying the place is reserved for customers. But, the next day, Jan 21, I went back with car fix tools and found my car wasn't in the parking place any more. So I called the towing company (Solution des Parcs de Stationnement du Quebec Inc), i was told my car was towed at 11pm and to know where my car was stationed then I must pay immeditaely $116 to get the address. I ended up without any choice, and to avoid further potential fees, I released my credit card info and got the address. I was then looking for the place on foot for about an hour in the extrem cold weather. Because of the cold and time spending on waiting on the call for the guy retrieving the address, my cell phone battery was almost dying, and I had to rely on it to guide me to find the place of my car. Luckliy thanks to the Lord, there was a good-hearted driver giving me a help and drove me to the place of my car. And I found my car was left on a very deep remote residential street. With gratefulness for the help given by the driver, I was feeling so bad about what the towing company did. I was charged in a very intimidating way. Although the night and the day were extreme cold, it was no colder than the way the towing company treated a person. When the company essentially did was to take advantage of a person's trouble and towed then hided the person's car and extort the money. ***** * *** *** **** ** *** **********

this charge does not come with any receipt and on top of that, my car had problems to allow me to drive and it was very cold and late night. What if a car was broken on a highway causing massive congestion, Will the car driver be charged for its broken car stationed on the highway?
