Atkinson Plumbing received a call 09/15/21 from this Ebiz Pages asking us if we had used their services 2 years prior and that we still owed money. We do not pay for advertising and have not for over 5 years, so the call was not returned as we thought it a scam. In January we received an email of an overdue invoice dated September 15/21 for $347.50. The business owner called them and left a message. We received another email of an overdue invoice and I called and left a message.(both in January) Neither call was returned. We again put it down to scam. We have had 5 emails in total but only since January (still have them on file) but I just received a mailed invoice with the same info plus 6 late fees added. I called again and left a different number to call and the company finally called back and I listened to the call made with the owner of him verifying all of our information and saying yes he is the one who authorizes these and yes to send the information to him but no where in the phone call does he say yes to the advertising. The company disagrees and said they would only cancel it if we paid the outstanding invoice amount (which does not say the same amount as said on their website for a 6 month service $299 vs $347.50) A company of the same name has all kinds of complaints on BBB in the United States for this same scam (different address) but the phone number they call from and listed on their website is based in the U.S. So I am not sure if it is the same company or not? I just want them to cancel this ad, not be charged for it as we did not agree to it and to never call us again under this current name or any other name they work under. I have uploaded the emails where they cannot even keep track of how many days past due it is and how they tried to return phone calls but they DID NOT leave messages and we return all phone calls at the end of the day as there is no one in the office most days. Also attached out original call sheet from 09/15/21

      BBB ID# ********
      W.A. Atkinson Plumbing Co.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to a customer complaint.

Ebizpages.com has never had a complaint. The complaints, on line are for a Company called Ebiz.com and have no affiliation with Ebizpages. There is no proof to support the accusation of complaints or scam.

On September 15, 2021, ******* ** ******** (Owner), authorized a business listing for W.A. Atkinson Plumbing Co. The full price was quoted to ******* ******** twice and we asked if the invoice, (not information) is to be sent to his attention as the authorized purchaser and we were told yes, we confirmed that it was payable in 30 days. We thanked ******* ******** for his business. We provided the service and mailed the invoice to his attention at the quoted price.
This was for a new service not a prior past due invoice that would need payment immediately and not in 30 days as quoted to ******* ********.
Late fees on a delinquent invoice are normal business practices.

On January 8, 2022 we spoke with ******* ******** and emailed him the link to his business listing as he requested and he would call us back. We were never told to discontinue the service that was now 115 days into a 180 day service. On January 11, 19, and 27 we tried to contact ******* ******** by telephone, but never answered. We never heard back from ******* ********.

On January 27, 2022 we sent an email with the past due invoice. We received a voice mail call in from ***** to call her back. We tried to contact ***** 7 times; March 1, 2022 we sent email since there was no response by telephone, requesting response by email or fax, none was ever received.

Most of the complaint is that they did not respond because they wrongfully assumed we were a scam. They had plenty of opportunity to send an email or fax to cancel if they did not want to talk to us thinking that we are a scam; they were aware it was a 6 month (183 days) service but decided to make a complaint after service had reached term (195 days).

As an offer of resolution, we are willing to credit invoice and the service has already reached term.

      Regards
