I visited the store on Feb 26, 2022. I paid for a bespoke wedding dress and purchased a dress for my mother. I paid $725.00 as a deposit. On the bill it says the remaining amount to pay is $325. The whole bill was to be $800 for the dress and $350 for the mother of the bride dress. I waited many months for them to get my dress. The phone number on the Google site and web site are wrong; and when I tried to message them on Facebook the page blocked me... in addition they're never open; I live fairly close and have visited a dozen times; never open during their supposed business hours. I finally got through to the seamstress in June and she could only see me in SEPTEMBER. At the appointment, the dress was not the same style as ordered. In addition, it was to be made-to-measure and it didn't fit me at all. I asked if I could have the floor model instead since it fit me better. They said it was gone. They also said that the train that was to be included was not the one I'd originally picked. They convinced me to upgrade for an extra $350. I paid the extra money ($675 total) and was told to take my dress with me; she'd alter it next time I came in. She refused to alter it then and there. They took my mom's measurements and said they'd have her dress ready "soon". It's been 4 months they've had my mother's dress and again I've visited the store 5 times, I've called the owner as well as the seamstress and I can never get through. Once the owner picked up the phone, said she'd "email the seamstress" and I have heard nothing back. My wedding date is approaching and my mom is now going to have to buy another dress. In addition, they only accept cash or e-transfer which is strange and probably not legal? I would much have preferred a paper trail so my bank could have looked into this. I need to pay a new dressmaker to fix all the problems with this wedding dress and she's charging me $500. I also paid $350 for my mom's dress and I've never received it. We now have to go looking all over again. I would like $850 refunded.
