            An online order was submitted on Nov 23rd at 11:29am. Upon receipt of the confirmation page that populated immediately after submitting my payment I recognized that a mistake had been made on the size of the bracelet that had been ordered. I searched for a phone number or any means of contact to head the order off and make the appropriate changes, however the only options available to me were a contact submission form on the website or an email address. I immediately submitted the request electronically stating the problem and that the order either needed to be cancelled or corrected from a size 7.5 to a size 8.5 bracelet. No communication was returned until a customer service representative stated that they would not be able to fulfill my request. I have made several attempts to plea my case to let this company know that they must have a method of reconciling such mistakes and that there needs to be a middle ground reached, but the company only states that their order processing methods don’t allow for such changes. There are other reviews on trust pilot of folks making similar complaints that this company operates without customer support of any kind. One person also stated their only success in getting any attention to their customer needs with a similar problem was threatening to file a complaint with rhe ***.

            I want to start out by saying I have ordered 4 mens bracelets from The Steel Shop. I love the quality and they have had some very meaningful impact for the people I have gifted them to. I have also recommended them to many friends. Recently, I assisted a friend in her purchase (she has multiple broken fingers and needed help) of 2 bracelets for her friends who lost loved ones. Prior to her order, she emailed customer service and asked if they would review the order when she submitted it. They told her yes. About a week later, I entered all the information for the 2 leather bracelets and the engraving. When entering the lettering for engraving on one bracelet, it read "Father + * on Family Forever. When I pushed the * down to stay as the word "*ON' it pushed all the lettering down and and would not allow me all the characters..even though I was within the allotted amount. I did not have a font size choice so I had to keep as is. In the memo field of the order I said "Please align accordingly..' and explained. Maybe it was because I ordered it on my mobile vs desktop? I don't know. Well, the bracelet came and clearly no one read my memo. Emails back and forth and they will not stand by, what I believe, to be their error. I do not know a printer that doesn't inspect work before processing. I am disappointed in The Steel Shop because I really am a huge fan of their products and sadly won't purchase from them again or refer them to anyone that asks where we purchased our beautiful leather memory bracelets.
