Initial Transaction: Around June 3/2023. Paid Approximately $112.89 at ********* ****** **** ****** **** ** *********. Purchased 2 bras. Took them home and noticed the coverage was insufficient due to the padding being too thin. On June 9th/2023 I went to La Vie en Rose at 15 First Commerce Dr Aurora On and purchased 2 different bras. Wore one of them for a couple days and the straps kept falling off my shoulder regardless how tight I tightened them and the back strap. Went to return them for a refund as I could not find alternative bras that fit me properly and was told that although I had the receipt, I did not have the bra price tags. I tried saying that this is unfair but was told this was their company policy. She suggested I purchase strap clips that criss-cross the straps at the back. I tried them for a few days but they were beyond uncomfortable. I went to Europe and upon my return I reached out to their head office and provided them with photos of bras, receipts and everything they asked for yet they declined to offer me a refund. I am hoping you can help with this as I am a loyal client of theirs and in fact spent just under $300 at their store for other items. I feel this is unjust and unfair retail practice. I purchased two one piece bathing suits in addition to a beach wrap in store at the Oshawa Centre location on January 22,2023. I attempted to return the two one pieces on February 6, 2023 well within 30 days, tags intact and was informed in store purchases of bathing suits were final sale for hygienic reasons. I explained this was not communicated to me ( if it was I would not have purchased as I was unsure)and also the online purchases can be returned which is very contradictory to the reason they are citing of hygiene. I made a purchase online from La Vie en Rose. I returned one item using the PRE-PAID RETURN SHIPPING LABEL that was provided. It is my understanding that when a store provides a shipping label, that the cost is already included. Nowhere on the shipping label did it indicate a cost for shipping, nor that the cost of shipping would be removed from my refund. To my surprise, when I received the email regarding the returned, I was absolutely shocked that they removed $7.00, plus tax for shipping and handling of the return!! I reached out to the company twice about it, and they refused to refund the fee. They just referred to the return policy. I explained that I was not referring to the return policy, but referring to the PRE-PAID RETURN SHIPPING LABEL that was provided. I also explained that had I been aware of the cost of the SHIPPING LABEL, I would have returned the item via another method. This whole process seems to be very misleading and deceitful. I must emphasize that I did not agree or consent to pay the shipping fee for the label.Initial Complaint
