      I never responded to them letting them know that I wanted the loan and they sent me the money anyways. I sent the money back to the same email address that sent me the money. I sent it back. Literally 13 minutes after they sent me the money. I emailed them multiple times telling them this and asked them to cancel my account and not charge me anything. When they finally responded to me, it was a pre-written message about what email address to send the money back to even though I told them I had already sent the money. They told me that I had to have the money sent to them by 5 PM and I sent multiple more emails saying I had already sent them the money almost 24 hours ago. No response from them at all. If I get charged by this company, I will be going to the proper authorities.

      I applied for a $500 loan with North Stars Brokers, it was accepted on January 10, 2019. I paid $50 every 2 weeks until October 2019, I had repaid part of my debt for an amount of $277. In November 2019, I wanted to pay the remaining 223$, but I could not contact the agency, they continued to take $50 from my bank account every two weeks. I no longer had any way to contact them, neither by phone nor by email, they never responded. In December 2019, I objected to the bank direct debits they were making. I want to resolve this matter, I don't know what to do, I contacted them by email and by telephone in January 2021 and in 2023 and 2024 but still no response. I want to resolve this matter, please help me

      Nov 28/23 applied for loan and pre approved Dec 1st get email asking for pay dates Dec 4th. Took to long, no customer support or response. I then camcelled. Of course the reply was quick, got email from ***** saying "you will get your money today" then 9min later email from ****** saying it was cancelled. Dec 8 I get email stating payment was coming out. I replied and explained injabe no loan with them. Plenty of time to fix this issue or get back to me. They choose not to. I'm left with my first nsf fee. $178.91 I didn't owe. Can't say they had no time to fix. I want the $178.91 back, 50 nsf fee and since my gas money is gone I can't get to work. 32.00/hr and I work 11.5 hr shifts. Company now owe me $596.91.

      Coincidentally the day I filed the complaint I received a msg from customer service rep. She fixed the issue and was amazing.  Mind you I did not jump the gun,  it took 2 weeks and only today's msg got the right rep.  How do I show resolved?

      Hi, I signed a loan for $1000. Still have not recieved my funds. No one is answering their phone or emails back to me?? I signed last thursday Nov 2/23. Now it is Nov 6/23. If this is how the company is going to be i want to cancel my loan. I have payments coming up the 24th and no money has been deposited?

      I never received an email about the rejection of the loan. The pictures i attached previously stated my payments dates . I just want to make sure im not going to be charged payments as i never got the loan money. i have not had a phone call or email back from your company at all .

      On August 17, 2023 I applied for a loan, ******, the agent who wrote to me refused to grant me the loan on the pretext that my account had a lot of NSF and that I am under a consumer proposal, Outside, I sent him documents proving to him that I have no NSF and that I am not under proposal. Despite all this, they refused with this pretext and the agent was very unpleasant in her comments. I felt judged and moreover I needed this loan.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I had already made a complaint last August 17, They wrote that I could reapply, I resolved the complaint positively, I had even signed the contract, When all that was done, they refused me under pretext that I was collecting with them. However, I have never made loans with Northstar Brokers. I even offered them my identity documents and I had no answers!!! I have the impression that the company took revenge for having received a complaint! It is pathetic!


      I would like to receive my loan that I have signed a contract I was approved

      I was contacted today about a loan that I was told I took out in 2019 for 500 dollars from North Star. I never took out a loan never heard from the company before today August third 2023. The guy told me he was applying a 2300. Charge on the 500 and to have a good day in court. I have never contacted North Star nor taken out a loan in years.       On July 26th, I applied for a loan and received an email from ************************** He requested additional information which I sent. Without any notification I was approved, and the funds were e-transferred to my account. 4 days later I was sent a copy of the contract. The repayment date was sent for Tuesday Aug 8th, when it was supposed to be set for Thursday Aug 10th. Not only that they are asking for a repayment of $2,858. for a $1,000 loan and $1,868.06 is the interest. *** ***** ******* ************* *************** *************** **************  don't work as I have called many times and I receive no reply via email. What I want resolved: 1. The payment date changed from the Tuesday to the Thursday 2. A serious reduction of the interest of $1,868.06! I will be contacting authorities unless this issue is resolved!

      I borrowed $700 from Northstar Brokerage's subsidiary **************** and my contract stated I was to repay it in 13 biweekly payments of $178.91 starting on June 1, 2023 (to a total of $2,325.83 ) which was supposed to be at 18% interest as stated on my contract. On June 17th, I reached out and asked to pay off my remaining balance in full. They responded" If you wish to close your account on June 30th, 2023, your remaining balance is $637.98, kindly confirm it by today, June 27th, 2023, before 5:00 pm, otherwise, we will continue debiting regular payments." I confirmed before 8:35am and they confirmed that the amount would be debited to close my account. On the 30th, they deducted $178.91. I notified them of the error and asked if they would be subsequently deducting the remaining $459.07. On July 14th, I followed up requesting my $178.91 back. They did not respond. I would like my $178.91 back.

      So upon getting my contract I was told I was getting $1000 loan and the payments were of 127.00 so I thought the interest was only $600 not triple and then I find out that I’m only approved for 500. I never got a new contract for the 500 and if I would’ve saw that I was paying triple back that is a scam I sent him an email about five days ago asking if this was the last payment only to find out that I’ve only made three of the 13 payments of 127 for a $500 loan. I was horrified and stressed. I have three kids to feed. Is this even legal

      I took out a loan of $1000 from a subsidiary of Northstar Brokers, Deposit My Cash now. So far I have repaid 4 payments of $220.62, amounting to $882.48. I emailed them to ask how much I have left to pay exactly because I was planning on paying it off in one final payment, and was informed that the loan was on a 13-month term amounting to a total repayment of $2868.06!!! Almost 3x the loaned amount! I was under the impression that the loan was $1000 plus 18% interest, in 5-6 payments of $220.62. This is an insane amount to charge, and I revised the contract and found where they slipped in a mention of an "Enrolment Fee of $1803.23". This is insane and I cannot afford this. I just want to return the original amount of funds at this point and cancel the contract. Please help.
