    I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the ongoing issues with my Breville espresso machine, which I purchased on November 19th, 2023. After just one month of use, the steaming function of the machine became faulty, with most of the steam escaping from the bottom of the machine rather than the steam wand, as it did when the machine was initially purchased. Concerned about this malfunction, I submitted a support case on December 26th, 2023. Following the established procedures, I patiently waited until January 8th, 2024 to give them a call, before being permitted to ship the machine to the repair center. Despite my anticipation, the outcome has been highly disappointing. Upon receiving the machine back on Jan 27th, 2024, I discovered that the issue persists— the steaming function remains broken. Moreover, to my dismay, the machine has sustained NOTICEABLE scratches during the repair process. I understand that technical issues can arise, and I appreciate the effort that Breville team has put into attempting to resolve the problem. However, given the continued malfunction and the additional damage incurred during the repair process, I find it super necessary to request a more satisfactory resolution. I request the following action be taken to address this matter promptly: Exchange the Machine -- exchanging my current machine for a new one to ensure that I can enjoy the full functionality of a properly working espresso machine. I believe this will not only rectify the current situation but also restore my confidence in Breville as a reliable and customer-focused brand.

    Bought a breville barista pro machine on Black Friday as a birthday present for my mom. A week later, I still had not received any communication from Breville regarding the order. I decided to go online and check the order status and it showed cancelled, with 0 communication whatsoever. So I contacted breville through their website because I was confused as to what had happened. I also checked to make sure the specific colour I wanted was in stock on website. It was, I even took a screenshot. Sent the email to breville and received the automatic response that I would receive a response in 2 business days. 5 business days later, I still didn't receive anything so I called them. I was told no one looked at my case yet and that he would look into it now and it would take 2 business days to get me a response as to why it was cancelled. 2 business days later no response. One more day goes by and I get told that it was cancelled because they didn't have my colour in stock, even though it was in stock when I ordered and after they cancelled my order. Took over a week from my original email to just get me that basic answer. To compare it took me less than 5 minutes for my credit card to confirm that they approved the breville transaction. Furthermore they've done nothing to compensate me or rectify the issue. They just said I'd have to reorder the machine again, even though the sale is long done and my mom's birthday has passed now. Had they properly communicated with me, I could've easily ordered another colour and this all could've been avoided. Told me only a supervisor could do anything like that, but you guessed it 2 business days to talk to a supervisor. I thought buying from the manufacturer would be better, but this has been a horrible experience and I don't even have an espresso machine at the end of all that. Waiting on the call from the supervisor now but at this point I'm so disappointed and frustrated that I'm not getting my hopes up.
