I, ***** ******, am writing on behave of my father ******* ****** . My Father is from a farm outside Kenaston. ******* made a purchase of a new *** riding lawn mower from a Home Hardware store in Davidson. This mower, at times, worked okay but during Covid the mower was unable to cut, idle, or at times start . ******* contacted the store owner to do the necessary warranty repairs, the owner sent out an employee from the store. After several attempts at ordering parts which took several months and get more parts to come the mower was still unusable . The employee told my dad the a proper gasket was needed as he had damaged it during an install of carburetors but did not have the correct one as it was damaged so the employee used silicone as a replacement. Father used the mower a bit only to find the mower wasn't working at all! Now I took it upon myself to deal with this outstanding Home Hardware warranty issue on parts that were not replaced properly. I had spoken to the store owner on two occasions, both with no response so I took it upon myself to take the mower from the farm to a city where I live on our truck for repairs. With completion of the mower I personally contacted the store owner as we agreed to discuss the needed repairs and the cost, I was told to send the bill on my cell to ******s cell only to be told "Oh my cell isn't working". Also the small engine repair mechanic had a conversation with ***** describing what was done wrong by his employee and the cost of the repairs, as this should have been done to finish the work they started upon warranty buy a Home Hardware employee.
