To whom it may concern: On July 12, 2022 I had an appointment with Breathe & Relax Healing Massage in Hoey, Saskatchewan at 9:00am with ************** a Raynor Massage Practitioner. Her phone number is 306-981-2997. On arrival ******** required me to fill out a form asking questions about allergies, what body parts were in pain and what parts on my body I would like her to work on, I broke my femur in 2020 and wanted her to work on that area however she told me she doesn't do massages like others do. She works mostly on fingers and toe tips which is different from an ordinary massage. At this time she said she wasn't a registered massage therapist so she was unable to provide me with a receipt. I stated I understood that but I still wanted to have a receipt for the money I spent. While in my treatment she suggested I get Reflexology done due to the fact I was tight in a lot of places and it would help loosen me up. She told me she had a friend in **** that was a Registered Reflexologist that would be able to help me as she was not registered to do this type of treatment. She would give me his information as well as information for herself after our session. After quite a while I figured it had been at least an hour. I asked her what time it was, she told me it was 10:00am. I asked what time her next appointment was and she told me 1:00pm I then said I only want an hour as I only brought $60.00 cash. She got really angry and stated "Do you think I can heal you in an hour?" I said maybe not but a 4 hour session may not either. When it came for me to pay she told me I could either pay with a cheque or pay with my ****. I decided to pay with my **** so that I could receive a receipt from the machine as it is automatic. When I was paying with my **** on her machine it seemed that it wasn't working properly so she picked it up to make it work, that could possibly be when the automatic receipt was cancelled. While the payment was going through she went and got her business cards and her friend's business cards for Reflexology (********************************) and other information was given to me at the door. At that time I assumed that all the necessary documents was all in the bundle she gave me such as my receipt. After getting home from my treatment at 11:30am I slept all afternoon and I slept all afternoon the next day as well. On July 14, 2022 I couldn't find any receipt in the bundle she gave me so I phoned her and she told me that I told her that I didn't want any receipts. I said maybe not from your business however I did want one for my **** payment for my treatment of $60.00. She then said "I can maybe help you with this...do you have a cell phone? Give me your number and password and when you go to ********* they can print it out for you." I told her I did not have a cell phone and she asked "What about your husband?" At that point I didn't feel comfortable so I told her that I was not giving her my husband's cell phone number, she then said "Then I can't give you a receipt!" I told her "Fine I will look into it" that's when I decided to phone the Better Business Bureau.

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/08/13) */ Hello I received this email in spam and that's the 1st one for me. I read her storie and obviously she forgot to mention a few things. I use Square on my phone for payment and I don't have a printer, when the machine asked her if she wanted a receipt she answered "no receipt ". Then 2 days later she phoned me and asked for a receipt I said "no problem give me a cellphone number or an email address and I'll send it to you" she refused, she asked me to send it to her by mail. I don't have a printer and I had to use a third party to print it but with the code of ethic for confidentiality it's not possible for me to ask a third party to do that. And then she insulted me on the phone she said that I wasn't a good practitioner I was crooked and she will do everything she can to make my business look bad and she hung up on me. She was mean and she was disrespectfull. I don't want to talk to her anymore so if you want me to send her a receipt I have no problem to do that she can send me a phone number or an email and if she still doesn't want to do so, I' m asking you to provide me a mail address and I will send a paper copy from Square. Thank you
