I ********************** resides at ************************************ SK *******, Canada saw this RDG Contractor online and contacted ****************** if he can do the backsplash in our kitchen and agreed to do the job. ***** and **** came to my house I believed it was June 3 to see how big the area is and how much they will charge me to do the work.(Area is only 44 square feet).We provide all the tiles,trim/edge grout,adhesives and all the materials needed for the work and just for the Labor RDG DRYWALL CONTRACTOR charged 550 Cad for that project and said they will not start the work unless I pay them first. June 6 I came home at around 12:15 pm to meet ***** and **** as they are already in my place to start the work.I handed them the 550 cash and hoping that they will start the work I left our place and I went back to my work.At around 2pm I came home and checked them..they did some cutting of the trim and some measurement and left at around 4:30 without any tiles put on in our kitchen and said they will be back on Wednesday to finish. June 7 at 8:06 pm ***** messaged me and said Wednesday will not be possible for them to come but on Thursday **** will be doing it and it will be done by Thursday and if not **** will give the money back to us. June 9 **** came at around 8am and start the tiling.It was in my observation and my husband's observation that **** was not sure of what he is doing.**** said that he feels overwhelmed and not doing or accepting this kind of job next time.I asked if he really does some tiling before and he said "NO".He said that, once he did some tiling for the floors but no backsplash.I commented to him that why he accepted this job if this is not his expertise?**** left that day at around 8pm and said he dont have his tools needed for cutting the glass mosaic and he will be back the following day. On ****'s whole day he just put some tiles on our above sink and behind the stove and thats it! When he left our place my husband and I noticed that the tiles are all crooked and not straight...it wasn't pleasant to see! I messaged ***** and informed about the situation. On June 10 nearly 10:30am **** came to our house again to continue the tiling.My husband and I decided not to let him finish the job because **** admitted to us that morning that he is not capable of doing the work. Attached to this complain letter is ************* letter that he will return our 450 money on June 18 as we gave him consideration for the gas he spent going to our place.450 out of 550 that we paid cash to them. ***** returned 200 Dollar on June 22 and said that it will be **** who will give back the remaining amount.I messaged **** but he didn't reply and called him but can't reach his number anymore. ***** and **** wasted our money,our time our tiles because we need to bought a new set of tiles to be able to complete the tiles we needed for this project again.**** used/wasted 28 pieces of 8×8 tiles and I want him to paid for that. Now We decided that we want our full money back.They still owe us 350 plus the tiles that he wasted. PLEASE WE ARE ASKING YOUR GOOD OFFICE FOR A HELP FOR THIS MATTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.WE GAVE THEM TOO MUCH CONSIDERATION IT IS MORE THAN 3 WEEKS NOW WE WORK HARD FOR THAT MONEY.
