In spring 2022 I asked **** of Shalovelo Renovations for a quote to replace 2 windows at my 2nd home at *********************. The quote was acceptable and I sent an etransfer deposit of $1500 on May 10. Anticipated time frame was 6 weeks. Late in June when I spoke to **** he said that there had been some delays, but windows should arrive and be ready for install late in July. Later in July I started calling **** and couldn't reach him. Late August he called me and told me of a problem with his business partner and that he was trying to get this resolved. I had dealt with him before so we agreed to talk after Labour Day to give him a couple weeks to resolve things at his end. Since September I have numerous times tried to contact him but have not been able to reach him. I would really like to get the windows as per the agreement, but at the very least I'd like my $1500 deposit back.
