To say that it has been challenging navigating through the COVID-19 Pandemic is an understatement. It was during this past year and a half that we truly came to understand how happy and blessed we are to be part of the dance/twirl family at Martin School of Dance & Baton Twirling. MSD has provided a sense of normalcy and routine, an opportunity for our daughter to stay connected with friends, and continued exceptional dance/twirl training throughout these very challenging times. Thank you so much to all of the faculty for your incredible work during this unprecedented time. Your love for dance shines through everything you do! If you are looking to enroll your child (or yourself!) in a dance class, I highly recommend checking out Martin's amazing new facility and everything they have to offer! Inside their incredible space, you will be surrounded by talented and creative teachers and coaches that celebrate over 60 years of tradition and innovation. More importantly, though, you will find a caring environment that challenges each dancer to reach his or her own potential. There is truly a class for everyone. Whether looking for an introduction to movement with your tiny-tot, a fun beginner class to try something new, a full competitive program with exams and competitions, or an adult class as a former dancer or even a brand new dancer - MSD has a class waiting for you! My daughter has danced competitively at Martin for the past 5 years and has been part of the Sundown Optimist Baton Group for the past two years. Her dance/twirl family has become so important to her, even at such a young age! I am a former dancer myself, and I am enrolled in the Studio '53 University/Adult Advanced Tap! I look forward to this class every week! We chose Martin because of the exceptional dance/twirl training we knew we would receive and we have stayed at Martin because of the relationships and friendships that we have formed! She loves walking through the studio doors because she gets to do what she loves with her best friends! MSD provides so much more than technical dance training - dance builds confidence and self esteem, provides an outlet for both physical fitness and mental well-being, fosters a sense of independence and maturity, and nurtures friendships.
