We purchased 2 identical **** ***  chairs in April/23, delivered in July/23. Within 2 days the one footrest was wrinkling so I contacted Furniture World. They and **** *** finally agreed to fix it. Service rep said she’d received permission to order a new base. Got it back November 8/23 & it is still wrinkled. Spoke to RJ D*****, owner, and he said it was not repaired to my satisfaction and it was only the chaise that was replaced but he would talk to **** *** and bottom line, if nothing would be done, he’d take the chairs back and issue a full refund. This is the e-mail I received today, November 9/23: Good day, I spoke with the ****** rep and he assures me the second chaise went out meeting their quality specifications. The other chair you are comparing this chair to is the exception and, moreover, over time it is going to wrinkle as well. Furniture fabric wrinkles, fabrics that don't wrinkle are not very comfortable to sit on and are not used in home furnishing applications. So you are aware two things happen to get the wrinkles: 1. the foam settles and 2. the fabric stretches. Both are unavoidable. I understand the leather chair you previously purchased may have set expectations for you in this regard but again if the manufacturer tells us the product meets their current standards we have no choice but to accept their decision. We understand this is not the conclusion that you were hoping for but this will end our correspondence on this matter.
