I bought a car of $29995 and their business has an offer going on of free winter tires with the purchase a car from them. They have a big sign of this offer in front of the dealership. When i bought the car i asked the manager and he said they won't give tires because they have put the car on discount. I didn't fight that time because I haven't seen the big sign properly because may be they have terms and conditions on that sign but they didn't have anything like this and still they don't have it. From the next day of buying i been asking them for tires and they only reply once in a day and sometimes they ignore my texts. They just say they won't give me tires because of discount. And now after a week they said they would give me discounts on tires from their shop instead of giving me free tires as per their promotion going on. I never asked any discount on vehicle. They put the vehicle on discount by themselves. Not sure if they really put it on discount or not. Once i asked discount when i was buying car and he told me that if he gives me any discount then he won't give me any warranty on the car, so i told them i don't want any discount on car. I'll buy it at the amount they selling it. I have photo and video proof of the big signs. I have a call recording proof also in which one of the employee says they will give me free tires with the vehicle purchase.

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/12/21) */ ***Document Attached*** Vehicle was sold to customer on November 4th 2022. The advertised selling price of the 2017 **************** was $35995+tax CAD. Customer was in the showroom and test-drove the vehicle. At the point on negotiation, customer mentioned that they were interested in purchasing the vehicle if the vehicle was discounted. The vehicle was discounted from $35995 to $29995 to achieve the biweekly payment requested by customer. Discount was applied in lieu of any other current promotions or incentives. The written offer was accepted and signed by customer which is attached for your reference - Page 4 of attached pdf. Sale was closed as the customer accepted the discount applied on the vehicle, terms and conditions of the lender and biweekly payment. As a pre owned vehicle dealer, we use multiple channels to advertise such as social media, billboards, magazines and radio. It is impractical to display terms and conditions of each offer/incentive based on the physical advertising space that is provided such as a billboard. Our valued clients are given the opportunity to negotiate a final sale price on any vehicle. The offers and incentives available at the time of purchase maybe used in the negotiation process to achieve a desirable deal. The final sale is bound by the sales agreement signed and accepted by both parties. In this case, there were no other work promised or incentives promised to the customer at the time of sale. Our offers and incentives may change without notice on a monthly, semi-annually or seasonal basis. We find it unfair for a customer to be demanding other benefits beyond the initial negotiation. As a courtesy, we are willing to offer one of the following options to resolve this issue, - $300 purchase credit towards a set of tires. - Free mounting and balancing of a customer purchased set of tires. Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2022/12/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The dealer says he discounted vehicle to achieve the biweekly payment but they already have put the vehicle on discount by themselves. I texted on ******************** on their ad when they car price was $29995.00 i have proof also where they have put the price by themselves. At their dealership when i asked to reduce the price they told me that if they reduce the price then they will not give me extended warranty so i said i need warranty im good with the car price. I have photo of the ad where i texted about my interest in the car. Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2022/12/31) */ As mentioned earlier, customer accepted the formal written offer. There were no other work promised, incentives or offers that was included in this deal. As a dealership our incentives and offers may change on a monthly basis and we find it unfair practice for a client to be demanding benefits outside of a signed sales agreement. If the client is unhappy with the service, client may return the vehicle back to the dealership. We are willing to reverse the transaction subject to a mechanical inspection that the vehicle is in the condition which it was sold. Refund of any payments made maybe prorated based on the mileage accumulated on the vehicle. Lender may apply additional charges/penalties for terminating the sales contract. Consumer Response /* (4200, 17, 2023/01/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I havent seen any formal written pffer regarding that As they said their offers change monthly basis, the offer that was going in those days when i bought car was free wonter tires with the vehicle purchase. If they cant go on their words then they should not provide these offers just to try to get some more customers. They doing unfair with the customers also.

I financed a 2015 *************************, I drove the car for 2 weeks and transmission died, it was in the shop for almost 3 weeks. After that the radiator went about 3 weeks later. I purchased and replaced the radiator, shroud and the fan belt. The previous radiator fan was glued together and fell off and cut the powerline to the water pump. The car would still not run. The water pump and housing needs to be replaced.it is in a shop right now and the quote to fix the water pump is $2700.00. I am a single father and am in the process of being evicted due to the expenses of the car purchased from Platinum AutoSport.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/11/09) */ ******************************************************************************************************************************* Mr.****** purchased a 2015 ******* on May 06 2022. Mileage at the time of purchase 104688KM. Pre sale service and certification document attached. Mr ****** mentioned the vehicle had a faulty transmission after purchase. On June 03, we had the transmission changed at no cost to the customer as a goodwill gesture. Mileage at the time of transmission replacement was 105967. Dealer issued warranty as per Saskatchewan government regulations are 1000KM or 30 Days whichever comes first. At the time of pickup after the repairs, Mr ****** requested to have the vehicle upgraded to a Sedan. Due to his credit situation and financial limitations, we were unable to get him approved for a bigger vehicle. Mr.****** was given the option to return the vehicle and cancel the sales contract without withholding any funds or payments made by Mr.******. This option was declined by Mr.****** and he decided to keep the vehicle.(conversation on personal cell text available with General Manager ****************) There are 2 other services/Repairs that was performed on the vehicle at the following mileage readings, 105585KM, 107303KM. None of these additional repairs were done at an expense to Mr.****** and they were done at our expense as a goodwill gesture. At this point, we had the suspicion of the client Abusing or misusing the vehicle to deliberately create a fault, expecting compensation. Mr.****** also texted the General Manger on personal cellphone asking if ******** is able to personally Finance the vehicle though ******** instead of the bank. All conversation are available for reference if needed. In the conversation with Mr.*****, it is evident that there were unlicensed, untrained mechanics that Mr.***** is using to get vehicle looked at, which we believe is creating electrical related issues. We also believe that Mr.***** attempted modifications to the vehicle which created most of the issues. Finally, Mr.****** had taken the vehicle to ***************** of Saskatoon get a coolant leak looked at. Repair Estimate from ********** Attached with a Mileage reading of 110000. After closely examining the damages to the radiator/coolant lines, it is evident that this was not a pre existing condition from the time of sale. It appears to be damaged due to a lower end collision/undercarriage collision. Vehicle was certified by an *** Accredited repair shop (************** - Saskatoon) As a Licensed dealer, we are required by our lenders to fully inspect, service and certify all vehicles prior to sale unless the vehicle is sold in current condition with a disclosure. The vehicle sold to Mr.****** was fully inspected and certified with all invoices being disclosed to the lender. We believe as a Dealer, we have gone above and beyond in taking care of this customer by performing all the repairs even though we are not required to, as the vehicle had passed its warrantable period for used vehicles. At this point we are not willing to offer further compensation. Please see documents attached. Thank You Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/11/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The coworker I had change the radiator holds his journeyman mechanic in Germany, he is part of the fwp and was brought to Canada As a specialist in cnc. I have photos of the radiator fan glued together the housing kept together by staples. The shop I have it in now, said the water pump broke due to the broken radiator. I have photos of the said broken radiator and housing. I believe the owners knew about the broken radiator and sold it.
