Hello, Thank you for providing this platform to help and give consumers a voice.My family stayed at Comfort Inn in Yorkton about 3 months ago (July 22), and left behind *** ear pods (with enhanced hearing feature) in the room that we stayed. On realizing this 2 hours away from Yorkton, we made a call to the hotel and fortunately, a staff by the name of ******** (a front desk staff who attended to us earlier on arrival), confirmed that the item was found it and assured us the hotel will mail out to our address in Lethbridge at our own cost. We thankfully agreed and provided our house address to **. After one week of our return home, my wife (****************) called ** to find out the status of the postage. **, to whom we remain very grateful for his help, kind assistance and updates, informed us that he has passed the item to his boss and general manager of the hotel, Mr. ********** for onward postage to us. On the 2nd week of follow-up, ** confirmed that his boss (**********) mailed out the item to the home address we provided (********************************************, AB) via ***********. A check with *********** a week later revealed a negative result. *********** told us with a tracking number for the mailed item, there was nothing they could do. One month on, with nothing received in the mail, I called the hotel to speak to ********** to obtain some postal (i.e. date of dispatch, addressee, address, receipt, tracking number, and anything) to enable an investigation by the postal authority as to its whereabouts, to no avail. All attempts made by ******** and me to get Mr. ********** on sit in his office or have him call us back proved abortive. 2 months on, the hotel staff provided me with Mr ********** e-mail address to e-mail him directly (*******************************************************************). Mr **********, replied the same day confirming he mailed out the item to our home address and have the tracking number sent to us (**********)
