      During a recent stay 7/14-7/17/24 at your Hilton Grand Vacation Resort on the Las Vegas Strip my husband and I were approached on numerous occasions re participating in a presentation. During one of the more extreme hot days, we agreed to do so as we were promised the presentation would last 1 1/2 hours, and for our time we would be compensated $100 gift card & receive a 3 day 2 night accommodations at a Hilton property which included a location in ******. The Hawaii property was the motivating factors to participate. Agent was *********************************.Presentations length was approx 3 hrs. Presenter **** was friendly & knowledgeable. We were almost convinced to purchase on the very last deal offered. I have been very skeptical of time share type deals and felt they may be more a keen to a scam. This has now been confirmed by Hilton. Following presentation & retrieving gifts, I was only offered the $100 gc. When I inquired about the 3d/2n vac, I was told it was not in the system. Other reps were processing this for other participants. I retrieved my copy of the agreement which clearly stated the compensation for attending was $100 **** and 3 / 2 vacation (attached). Management was called. He initially asked for my email address and wanted to commander my presentation agreement. I indicated I would like to retain a copy for my records; he reportedly hand wrote the needed info and indicated that I would receive an email awarding me the 3/2 vac by the next day.It has now been well over 2 ******* have received no communications When I try to contact general resort or CS, I am transferred to LV on Strip Resort time share as all say they should correct. I get no answer or no response from left voice messages. As a Hilton Honors member am I very disheartened with the deceptive and dishonest practices at Hilton Guardian Resort on **************. I am writing to respectfully request that my participation agreement compensation be honored for the promised 3d/2n resort vac stay.

      We wrote a letter to the President of Hilton Grand Vacations, the parent ******* of ******* Resorts, a recounting of our distressing experience and a plea for urgent assistance. Hoping that he can provide guidance, support, and intervention in our case. The emotional and psychological toll this ordeal has taken on us cannot be overstated. We find ourselves in a battle that we are ill-equipped to fight alone, against an entity that seems to have perfected the art of exploiting the vulnerabilities of the elderly as my wife is in her late 70s and I am in my mid 80s. We are not seeking retribution but rather protection and justice, not only for ourselves but for others who may find themselves in similar situations. Elder abuse, in any form, should not be tolerated, and entities that engage in such practices must be held accountable. The realization that we were deliberately chosen for this treatment because of our age is not only disheartening but deeply disturbing. It is a ***** reminder that elder abuse can manifest in many forms, including through deceptive sales practices. Practices, I must add, that are unequivocally prohibited by law. We know that Hilton Grand Vacations has no responsibility for the actions of the employees of a ******* that Hilton has taken over, but we feel compelled to share our story with you in the hopes that Hilton Grand Vacations understands the precariousness and difficulty of our situation. We are both retired individuals, living on limited budgets and incomes, and feel that *******, at all points, took us for a ride. ******* Resorts targeted us to push us towards making a timeshare purchase with them under the false promises of ease of access, the building of equity to hand off to our children and the ability to make extra income into our old age via renting out the timeshare. Our letter has fallen on deaf ears, now the harassing creditor calls have started.
