******* and Fudge is continually harassing me when I asked not to be contacted. They refuse to stop calling me. They are very rude and condescending. They said I owe a little over $300 to a college who has cheated me out of $1000's of my federal student aid money. I told them I didn't own this school anything. They continually harasses me every chance they get. Something needs to be done. FCC is the next step!Williams & Fudge, Inc. Response

They sent me a text message on 6/11/2024 saying that I owed $150 to a local community college. I never disputed the debt which I am paying. I disputed the amount. They are known for violating the ****** After I contacted them via text, they never sent me a letter 5 days later after contacting me which is a blatant violation of the ****** Some woman called me, and she was very rude after I told her that I do not owe $150 and that I provided a screenshot to Williams & Fudge. I even sent two emails to try and get this resolved and I have heard nothing back. They are bullies and I won't let them push me around with their intimidating tactics.Williams & Fudge, Inc. Response

I have recieved multiple calls a day, especially when i am at work. I got fired and even when i told them i dont have any money they got aggressive. They made me cry on the phone. I have an anxiety disorder, i cant focus when people yell at me. I have paid almost $8000 dollars, even in the first call they were extremely rude. I was all about paying off my debt, i wish i could get treated like an actual human being.Williams & Fudge, Inc. Response

I got a letter in the mail from Nelnet (a student loan servicer that I do not use; my servicer is EdFinancial) telling me I had requested to consolidate my federal student loans, even though I made no such request. After speaking to a very friendly representative from ******'s ************************* I was able to cancel the request and was told the request was made by Williams & Fudge. I have never spoken to Williams & Fudge in my life nor given them consent to file anything in my name. How were they able to do that? Better yet, why did they do that to begin with? I will be filing a fraud report with EdFinancial.Williams & Fudge, Inc. Response

This organization is incredibly deceitful. They called me a month ago claiming I owed 10k in outstanding university fees. When I told them I'd never attended that school, they didn't believe me and told me they had my social security # associated with enrollment. Fast forward a couple weeks and I've spoken to the school in question and the school told me that there was a student with my name who enrolled, but that the student was an international student who did not have a social security number. I'm a U.S citizen with a social security number, so clearly it isn't me (not to mention, I've never attended this university). What I'm writing a complaint about is that Williams and Fudge called me and threatened to report to the credit bureaus because, they claim, my SSN showed up on the debt. This is a blatant lie. Again, the college verified that the debt they submitted was for a student with no SSN. Williams and Fudge has closed the case but I deserve an apology, at the very least.Williams & Fudge, Inc. This company is horrible and they harass people. They called my cousin on 7/19 to have him get in touch with me regarding a student loan debt that I supposedly have. My cousin lost his father one week ago and to get a phone call about me regarding something he knows nothing about is unacceptable. When I spoke to ********************* she was more concerned about getting my information verified then listening to what I had to say. She hung up the phone on me three times and had a nasty disposition about herself. This needs to stop you Do NOT call any other third party regarding me. I have never had an experience like that. I called and spoke with ****** manager and he said he put a note in my file. Last year, this debt was sold to another company when I called that company somehow the debt went back to Williams and Fudge. I refuse to do any work with Williams and Fudge they are disrespectful, and predatory.Review from Natalie F

First attempt-So, in 2020, while I was in my car in a long line for a CV19 test I received the same call as I received in June 2023.It played out pretty much the exact same way in 2020 as it did on this day. So 2 weeks ago I was left a VERY threatening voicemail. (unfortunately, I deleted it) but they said I could be sued for defrauding a bank and that I must return their call that day or they would be filing paperwork to start the process of having me go to court and that I would be responsible for any fines and court filings. I called back within minutes.I know the Fair Credit reporting act pretty well. So I finally get a person on the phone and she tells me this is in regards to a bank account I had with ***** Fargo in 2008 or 2009. (GA Stats have run out *******) I responded with the same thing I told the guy in 2020, I HAVE NEVER HAD A BANK ACCOUNT WITH ***** FARGO! She then says does your social end with ####.Yes but I never had an account with ***** Fargo EVER! She then proceeds to say that I am responsible for over $3k in money to ***** Fargo and they are just the bill collector for the bank. I said, ****, this is some kind of scam. She tells me it's not and that I could be sued and possibly arrested for defrauding a bank. (think bubble: WHAT?) OOPS! She just dug her own grave! She obviously doesn't know the debt collecting laws and what you can and can't say. (I wish I had the vm and this call recorded). I kept saying I never had an account with them and why haven't I ever received anything in the mail and why wasn't it on my credit? She said ***** don't report these types of issues on your credit but that would change now that they are handling it. In 2020 I was told the same thing. Never happened. She then says, well we have pictures and video of you opening the account. I said from 2008? Bulls$#@% and if you do, GREAT you will see it wasn't me!!! I told her I would be reporting this call and this number as fraud! She hung up on me!Review from Ch M

If I could give negative stars, I definitely would! These people are the most RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, ASININE, UNPROFESSIONAL of anyone I have ever dealt with! I honestly believe they are trained this way! This company is a DISGRACE & should be shut down on reviews alone! They arent even following protocol, because no one is even receiving paperwork from them. Theyre just calling & being TRASH PEOPLE!
