      We had an issue with our large garage door, and it was stuck halfway up. We called after-hours and were excited they had a technician available to come within the hour. We were told the service charge was $150. When the technician (****) arrived, he quoted us $775 to fix it! We were stunned. But we couldn't leave the door halfway up all night, and no one else had called us back yet. It was 8:30 p.m. at this point. The new spring we had installed by another company had cost us half this amount just 10 months before this! After about 90 minutes, it was fixed (spring was installed incorrectly the first time), and when he handed us the bill, it was $925 (no parts were needed! That was just for labor)! We balked, and the tech got mad and said he wasn't going to get paid. We asked for a breakdown of the charges, and he didn't provide any. He stormed across our driveway, then told us technicians only get 15%, so he was going home after fixing our door without pay. Is $925 a fair price for 90 minutes to repair a garage door that doesn't need any new parts? Heck no! Did we have a choice at that point? Not really. We didn't feel we did, anyway. It was 10:00 p.m. We called the offices the next morning to complain and ask for a partial refund (or at least a breakdown of their hourly rate) and were told "thanks for feedback; too bad." They give us anything. Unreal. Do NOT use this company!!!

      Installed 2 doors 2021. It is now 2024 we have had them come 3 times to fix their installation error. 1 door's fasteners were not tightened upon ******************* collapsed within 6 Months. ******** had expired so we received a service charge. They put in their notes we hit something, these doors have sensors!! WE hit nothing! This creased the door and broke a window they tightened the bolts and tried to get the crease out. 2nd time door collapsed the main arm had pulled loose from the door due to the crease , they put in a support bracket on the ********** tried to straighten the crease again .He also adjusted the door for it would not stay down. This did not help for we had a 3rd collapse last week the 2 brackets pulled loose broke a window and crumpled 2 sections. They did come out but have not contacted us since for they know we are highly aggravated with their incompetence. All of this has occurred within 2 1/2 years!!! 2 companies have inspected and quoted upon this 3rd *************** stated if DC would have placed a support bracket between the panels themselves after 1st collapse this would not have occured. We are now replacing 2 panels ,broken glass & putting the support between the panels for both doors ,this is costing us almost $1000.00 due to their initial error!! . Stay away from these incompetent folks for they do not take accountability and even go so far as to put notes in their system that are not true!! We had someone get cut from this last collapse. Their arrogance and in competence could have really hurt someone but, THEY DO NOT CARE!! This is my opinion and what my family has experienced.
