Don't waste your money with Sears Home Warranty or Protection Plans. They do not resolve your issues. My microwave has been broken since Feb. 2024 and it is now July 2024. Parts are no longer available, and my protection plan says they should replace it with a similar microwave. I cannot get approval for this replacement despite calling them every 3 weeks. The people answering the phones just tell me the issue has been escalated and to wait 3 to 5 business days. When I ask to speak with a supervisor there are none to be found. It's an endless loop. I have been a loyal Sears customer since 1963 and I will now be breaking all ties with them, including canceling my Sears credit card and canceling my protection plan. Warning....do not do business with Sears. They are not what they use to be and just take your money and do not meet their contract promises.Review from Linda W

Sears home warranty contract no.******** has repeatedly failed to repair dishwasher that was leaking. Leaking into basement and kitchen. It tech agreeded it needed to be replaced. I agreed and then sears wanted to repair the dishwasher. I said no. It was not reliable. But so far they have completely ignored the situation I am complaining about the whole drama they have created. A payment for a new dishwasher would be in order after all this pain and suffering. ***** ******** *** ****** ******* *********** ** *****. Please go after this service.Review from Brian P

Avoid this part supplier at all cost. They take your order, take your money, then don't ship the product. Then it is almost impossible to get a refund/credit. Phone system is terrible too. It's almost impossible to reach a person to resolve your issue. In my case, they showed the part as being in stock even though they knew it wasn't in stock. Then when questioned on missing the promised delivery date they admitted to having to order the part from the manufacturer. The manufacturer had discontinued the part so they were never going to be able to ship it. I had to contact them several times to get them to cancel the order and issue a credit. Five weeks later and I'm still waiting to receive the credit.Review from roy s

Horrible costumer service. Can not contact to resolve problem. I have been hung up from phone calls 3-times and have spent 1.75 hours on hold. Still no answer or given a time they will answer.Review from Luna Z

Terrible customer care service, they lie about appointments. they keep missing appointments and rescheduling the day of the visit. worst experience ever. Nobody picks up the phone; then they have AI generated text messages that are extremely unreliable. since mid april I am supposed to get my refrigerator fix, and after several rescehduled appointments now the want to come home by the end of June...over two months really? changed appointment 4-5 times. claim they dont have the parts, when is a lie. I received the parts weeks ago... terrible....Review from Patti S

Very poor business practices! Was sent an estimate that required a signature prior to arrival of technician. Technician unaware of previously sent estimate. Even though his assessment was only for a one part repair (which he had no part for and estimated at least 3 weeks for receipt), he was told to collect over $500 as labor amt. conveniently coincided with labor amt included on prior estimate that included several unneeded parts. Was advised that I had to pay the total amt before part could be installed. This is a scam!Review from Timothy T

My experience with Sears Home Warranty powered by Cinch has been a terrible experience. For the past two years my HVAC unit has been going out and they'd simply just add refrigerant to get it working. Finally this year my HVAC unit started to freeze on the line running to the house. Sears Home Appliances came out and told me to put in a request for another work order and he'd come and fix it. He came out a week later and added refrigerant, it worked for two days and then it shut off completely. I called customer service, they said he could not make it back out for another week, so customer service sent out another contractor and he said my unit needed to be replaced. He sent the report and customer service said they'd send another contractor. They contracted a company called Keepe, who sent out Winter's HVAC who also said that it needed to be replaced. The report was sent to Keepe who said that they did not receive it so this went on for 3 days. I put Cinch Customer Service, Keepe and Winter's HVAC on a three way call. Winter's HVAC said they sent it and finally Keepe admits they received the report. They held on to it for another week. Contacted Cinch and they said they ordered the parts. I called the authorizations department for a tracking number and they stated the part had not been ordered due to going back and forth worth Keepe on a report. The authorization rep scheduled another contractor to come out. He shows up on a Friday and says he'll repair the compressor. I am still waiting on the compressor to come in. I understand its been since Friday but, I have been fighting this for two months.Review from Kay I

I should have read these reviews first. One (1) star at best. Charges $13 for standard delivery which turns out to be snail mail. Then wants another $8 to upgrade to UPS delivery. No wonder Sears has been going out of business. Never again.Review from Dayna M

They have messed up my order for my dishwasher several times now. I ordered a new one about 1 month ago and it was supposed to be installed about 30min ago and I get a call last minute stating that they just now realized it was the wrong model. It was also supposed to be installed last week and yet they didn't do it then either because of the lack of communication. I struggle to be patient any longer because they seem to not have any sense of urgency or respect when it comes to my time or money. I will NOT be using their company again, even through American Home Shield. I do not blame American Home Shield at all but I do blame Sears.
