I had a medical bill that I paid with AMCOL back in 2020. I just received a phone call from a new collection agency trying to collect the same debt. They sold fully paid collections to another agency. I had to request bank statements from my bank and comb through them looking for it because it was so long ago.Review from Brenda S

I have had two voicemails from this company with a number to call back. I have tried several times to call the number they gave only to be put on hold for 10-15 mins. After waiting for this amount of time, the call disconnects every time. I am very concerned that there could be an unpaid bill out there that I don't know about, but I have no way of contacting them. There is no email listed on their website. I will be very upset if my credit score is affected by them not answering their phones!!Review from Jerome N

Poor customer service- I spoke to a lady and asked her why my collection could not be removed from my credit report since it's paid in full and her reply was AM COL does not remove negative credit even when paid off. I find this response ridiculous at best. I rated this company a one because they answered the telephone and even then, they answer just in case it was an opportunity to collect money.Review from Madison L

I called this collections agency to see if they could send me an itemized bill, the lady on the other end of the line was very rude and I'm sorry, nobody is getting money from me until I receive an itemized bill to verify my identity and to be certain everything is correct.AMCOL Systems, Inc. I do not have a debt with this company and they continue to call my phone for someone else. I sent a cease and desist letter to them by fax (if they gave me the real fax number)yesterday. I told the lady I was talking to that they had been told to stop calling me. Told her same bill same company don't call me again. Thanks to you I will have to change my voicemail so you will understand who's number you are calling. Hopefully that will get you to stop harassing me. I work in the financial world and know for a fact you can look people up to find numbers, address etc. I do it everyday so get yourself together.
