The owner is friendly and professional. I had a very pleasant experience fixing my antique artifact. I have a very ancient belt hook with its head snapped. Morty repaired it perfectly, and I can see no trace of repair at all. No gaps, no lines, no discoloration, just as if it never broke. Wonderful job done!Review from Chad L

Five stars all the way! I consider myself fortunate to have come across Lakeside Pottery Studio a few years ago when a family heirloom statuette was knocked from a shelf and broken. Then, a couple years later, another item inherited from my grandparents, a Japanese bowl, became chipped and damaged. Morty and Patty do impeccable work. I am 100% satisfied with the repair work they did on my family items. The repairs are, to my untrained eye, completely undetectable. They saved my family heirlooms with their beautiful craftsmanship. Their communication throughout the process is top notch, and their packaging is done with such care that no damage is likely to be incurred when the item is shipped back. If you have an item, whether it is a valuable collectible or simply something of sentimental value to you, you can trust Lakeside Pottery Studio to give the best results possible in bringing your damaged, cracked or broken item back to its former glory. The old adage is true..."you get what you pay for." There is a lot of time and meticulous effort involved in restoring damaged pottery. To me, the cost to repair my items was well worth it. I could not have glued or epoxied my items and had a favorable result. Just not possible. These guys are the best!.Review from rob s

Lakeside Pottery Studio did a fantastic restoration on our 70 year old Japanese vase that was shattered. The detail work was such that we could not tell where it had been broken and looked better than new. They are true artisans. I would highly recommend them for any art restoration work.Review from Mary Ellen F

The deacon at my church shared his kintsugi bowl as part of a recent sermon. It was a vivid spiritual image. Little did I know I would soon want kintsugi for my daughter. She had a very big year starting up her own marketing business, and she did it with an arm that was badly damaged from a 2022 auto accident. As she prepared for her sixth surgery last Monday, I knew I wanted a gift that would recognize all she's been through so bravely and convey that she is immensely precious as she is right now. The deacon steered me to Lakeside Pottery. After viewing the website, I called Morty. It was a fun, heartening call and I left it knowing I’d made the right choice. Morty's kindness, empathy and commitment to my satisfaction are reflected in the beautiful bowl I received. It came impossibly fast, just 4 days, and arrived the morning after my daughter's total elbow replacement. It is perfect in color, size, gold work, and feel; it's a pleasure to hold. I consider it my lifetime gift to my daughter. I highly recommend Lakeside Pottery.Review from Denise S

I was referred to Lakeside by a friend who assured me that I would be pleased with any repair that Morty or Patty undertook. I would say now, that’s an understatement. I couldn’t be happier. Such professionalism is rare today, the work done was impeccable. No one would ever be able to spot a repair. I was kept abreast through the entire process which again, is rare. When my piece was returned and I opened the box I actually gasped! She was beautiful again. I highly recommend Lakeside for any project. This was my fourth repair and by far the most challenging. Perfection each and every time. I can’t thank you enough bReview from Mary Ellen W

I cannot overstate the caliber and professional craft that Morty & Patty practice meticulously at Lakeside Pottery, in their superbly maintained workshops. They repaired my statue flawlessly (seamlessly). Even though I know exactly where the numerous damaged parts were, I cannot tell the difference from the original. Although I paid as much to repair the statue as it cost me, it was worth every penny to see the Cretian sailor come back to life and be reunited with his partner statue and complete the set. In objection to our throwaway culture, I like to try restoring things, especially art, and boy am I took a chance and drove all the way to Delaware. Morty was very diligent about explaining all the options and weighing the pros and cons of kinstugi vs. seamless techniques, finding transportation solutions for outsized pieces, and recommending future packaging options. No wonder the couple regularly get commissioned globally, including by the White House !!!Review from Susanne F

I recently had a small, inconsequential tea cup repaired with the brass kintsugi process by Lakeside Pottery. From the initial encounter through their website to receiving the cup everything was quite easy for this non technologically minded individual. Even better was the time they needed to perform their magic was not very long. Upon receiving my cup I was tempted to smash something else to get another cool looking piece from them.I decided against that because I’m sure I’ll knock something on the floor inadvertently in due time. Then I can reach out to Lakeside Pottery again for another really cool looking piece!
