  ***** and ***** at Lakeside Pottery repaired a rare alabaster clock dial which had been damaged during shipping. The job was perfect, done with attention to the traditional ways in which the dial had been constructed and restored so there was no sign of the cracks. The lovely old patina on the dial was matched and retained. I was absolutely delighted with the result. They are super people to visit, and to work with. The turnaround time was exactly as promised. I surely hope I will never have a broken treasure again, but should it happen, Lakeside Pottery will be my choice for repairs.

  A very sentimental chinese vase got broken. Found Morty and Patty via google search. So thrilled with the vase which came back yesterday - it is astonishing the level of work. We are absolutely delighted. Morty communicated throughout, very thorough prework emails and photographs. 50% upfront and balance once finished item photographs sent. Don't hesitate to use them. It is concerning to trust cherished items (sent through the mail) but they made it so straightforward and easy. We went for museum quality level restoration - because we know we will never sell the item. We are very happy we chose Lakeside Pottery Studio to undertake the work.

  We have purchased several Kintsugi items from Morty at Lakeside Pottery because they are simply the best! Recently, I had one of our favorite vases we purchased from them several years ago, when something heavy landed on top of it, creating many new cracks. In talking with Morty, I sent it off to him to fix it for us. He went above and beyond and did an absolutely beautiful job! For this very reason we will continue to come back for future purchases, and strongly recommend anyone to do so as well.

  I had a Civil War-era cookie jar, a family heirloom, accidentally crash on the floor with one corner shattered. I was very worried about it ever being fixed, as this cookie jar has delicate detailed painting on it and it's made out of porcelain. Well, I couldn't be happier with the repair. It's impossible to tell that it ever shattered! Everything is seamless.

  They did a fantastic job repairing and family heirloom decorative plate that had been snapped in half into two pieces by careless movers. There is no visible seem at all - the plate looks as good as new! All our interactions were highly professional and this team was super easy to work with, and they do high quality work. I strongly recommend them!

  The owner is friendly and professional. I had a very pleasant experience fixing my antique artifact. I have a very ancient belt hook with its head snapped. Morty repaired it perfectly, and I can see no trace of repair at all. No gaps, no lines, no discoloration, just as if it never broke. Wonderful job done!

  Five stars all the way! I consider myself fortunate to have come across Lakeside Pottery Studio a few years ago when a family heirloom statuette was knocked from a shelf and broken. Then, a couple years later, another item inherited from my grandparents, a Japanese bowl, became chipped and damaged. Morty and Patty do impeccable work. I am 100% satisfied with the repair work they did on my family items. The repairs are, to my untrained eye, completely undetectable. They saved my family heirlooms with their beautiful craftsmanship. Their communication throughout the process is top notch, and their packaging is done with such care that no damage is likely to be incurred when the item is shipped back. If you have an item, whether it is a valuable collectible or simply something of sentimental value to you, you can trust Lakeside Pottery Studio to give the best results possible in bringing your damaged, cracked or broken item back to its former glory. The old adage is true..."you get what you pay for." There is a lot of time and meticulous effort involved in restoring damaged pottery. To me, the cost to repair my items was well worth it. I could not have glued or epoxied my items and had a favorable result. Just not possible. These guys are the best!.
