I was having trouble the Marcus by Goldman Sachs bank. I have been trying to get my money out for three months. When Barclays got dragged in to it due to nothing I did wrong except trying to deposit my money, with them from the money from the sale of my home that Marcus had in a CD for almost a year. To protect me Barclays froze the account and they still allowed me to at least see my account and know the money was there from Jenus bank. Unlike Marcus and Jenius bank that blocked access and for almost a month have not even been able to verify my money is still there or asked for any documentation like Barclays didReview from Nancy r

I purchased 3 bingo cards at Casino de Sol Casino in Tucson, AZ When I received my bank statement for my AAdvantage Aviator red world elite mastercard, I noticed 3 10.00 charges + interest on 5-15-2024 for 3 different cash advance charges. First of all this was not a cash advance. NO cash was given to me: it was payment for bingo cards. 2 times i contacted the customer service rep. for the bank and they refused to reverse the charges. When I signed the credit card receipt at the casino there was no notification that there would be additional fees related to my purchase. I would like these fees reversed. Nancy Richardson 3230 N. I received a credit card through Barclays for my Wyndham rewards program. I had the card for a few months and had been using it to pay for my Wyndham timeshare. However on 6/11/2024. I had a fraudulent charge on my account that I wanted taken off. I call customer service and told the representative that I wanted the card frozen and the payment cancelled and to send me another card. Well a few days go by and I try to access my account and it says I can't and that I need to call the number provided. I call just to find out that instead of sending me a new card they completely close my account entirely. I had a card with a $20,000 limit that as I said previously was using to pay for my Wyndham timeshare loan. Now I have a $10,000 balance on my closed Barclays account that I owe along with a loan payment due with no card to send it to. I was on the phone today 6/20/24 for an hour just for them to tell me there was nothing they could do and they gave me a number to call in order to pay them their dues. I will never associate with this bank again or any business that uses them for lines of credit.Barclays Bank Delaware Response

I have paid my credit card twice and the bank can’t find the payment. I have sent both proof of electronic payments, given my account number associated with the payments and they still say can’t find it. My bank offered to speak with them on a 3 way call and the barclays Bank Delaware refused. They stole my money and I can't do anything about it.Review from Aleyda A

I've been a customer for over 17 years, and it is really hard to do simple tasks with this bank, like changing your phone number; it's not allowed on the app. You have to send really sensitive documents via mail, like your SSN and driver's license, just to update your number. Also, your rewards are never accessible... They make it really hard for you to earn $1 after spending $3k. Just stick to other banks with greater cash back. I don't recommend this bank at all. They make you pay and hold you responsible for charges you didn't even authorize when someone steals your card. If I were you, I'd stay away from this private bank; it's not worth your time or money. I'm on my way to report this to the Better Business Bureau. It is a waste of time dealing with them since they don't even credit your account when bad things happen to you. They make you responsible for fraud and suspicious activity and want you to deal with the merchant yourself when it's supposed to be their job. Useless customer service. I have never had a problem with other banks and I have a perfect 800 credit score. Even to cancel your account, they make it really hard. This is my first time ever complaining about a bank, and it is because this card and bank don't do what they promise. No rewards allowed and no help with a stolen card. The security procedures being done by Barclay are way over the top and employees can in no way deviate. I have been trying to make the same transaction three times and each time security is required to verify with an out going call, even if you are on the phone with the very phone they intend to call. This wouldn't be as problematic if that hadn't already discussed the transaction twice before each time verifying my identity. Is it possible for them to make it any more difficult for customers to do business with them? Also, as pointed out by others the departments aren't communicating and even if they are the employees only follow their scripts without deviation. If I could give this a zero star I would. I need some help or guidance. I have been dealing with a dispute with Barclay Bank/Old Navy since May 2023. I had purchased $99.60 from Old Navy using my Old Navy card by using the card twice (once Feb 18, 2023 & the second time Feb 19, 2023). I then went onto my bank account and using the online bill pay using the address on the back of my Old Navy card for where payments should be sent and submitted my online bill pay to be processed on Feb 24, 2023. I did the same thing for one more purchase made following this in March 2023. Barclays/Old Navy accepted my March payment without issue. They claim they never received my February payment. Both were sent the same way to the same account to the same address. I have sent in copies of bank statements and made many phone calls, emails, and even a written letter to resolve this. They have closed my account to where I cannot even log into their application as they have claimed it as "maroon/fraud". They closed my account and stated delinquency and it is now affecting my credit score so severely as well as other lenders now dropping my available credit limits and jacking up my interest rates for something I paid before a statement was been generated and sent to me. They are causing me to look like an untrustworthy person!! I even had my bank reach out to them and provide proof of payment and they STILL say I am not providing proof of payment. I am struggling with this and it has me so stressed and anxious. Something needs to be done!Barclays Bank Delaware Response

Absolutely horrible customer service! Made promises to simply let time pass and the issue would resolve and naturally the issue didn't resolve. I called multiple times and each time got told just wait another 2-3 days or another 48 business hours and the issue still did not resolve. This broker is a scam if only I had read about them before going into trade with them. ?? they keep telling me to deposit more of my funds..
