We had a roof installed, our electrical upgraded from 100 amp to 200 amp and solar panels installed. All work was done professionally, passed inspections, and is working well. Throughout the project, it seems internal communication was at times tough. Multiple people would call to schedule from different contractors, the city etc. Sometimes even for the same thing. We suggest a more streamlined interaction such that the customer only has one point of contact. This said, our sales rep Ian, went above and beyond to try to figure out what was happening and relayed the information back to us very promptly.SunnyMac LLC Response

So far, just roof replacement (solar panels to be installed next week), but the roof replacement went well and they did a reasonable job of cleaning up (not great, but better than most). The lead up to it was good, with a few minor glitches, but nothing serious. So far, 4 stars, because they're not done yet.SunnyMac LLC Response

I have been extremely impressed by the professionalism of all the many members of the staff that I have been in contact with during my installation process. From the young woman who first rang my doorbell and informedme of the state reimbursement program, to the knowledgable man who arrived promptly for his appointment to explain what the system would entail, without making me feel pressured. He returned again for another appointment to sign the documents online, and yet again on the day when a friendly and capable man measured my house with a drone and inspected my roof, attic and fuse box. I was assured that all was satisfactory. Installation took place in one morning. And though I was nervous that my fairly new roof might leak afterward, my own search after the first couple of heavy rains reassured me that all was well. At this point here was a lot of waiting for the state and PSE & G to process paperwork, for the township to inspect the work, some final tweaks by a diligent and intelligent field tech, and but then I was producing electricity. All throughout, emails, phone calls and texts by polite and friendly reps kept me apprised of the process, and I never had to initiate contact. The entire installation was free to me and my electricity rate is now frozen at its current rate, low in part because of the perfectly south facing back roof of my property, for the next 25 years.SunnyMac LLC Response

I have had a wonderful experience with this company. I was notified about anything going on and always heads up if anyone was coming to my house. Also, I’ve been able to text the company(Laura specifically)-which is what suits me best is to text-for any questions, concerns, or updates and have always recieved communication back almost immediately without fail. I’m very happy with my choice to go solar, I will be recommending this company to anyone especially if they’re questioning getting solar or not. Thank you to the team!SunnyMac LLC Response

While I have no problem whatsoever with the actual solar panels purchased, then installed, through SunnyMac, I have been somewhat less happy with the way they communicate with their customers. It can be quite difficult to reach the relevant person, or office. Fortunately, one of their employees, called Laura, has been absolutely extraordinary in her efforts to help me, responding on the spot to my successive queries, providing various pieces of information, and even intervening to make sure I would be contacted by the relevant specialists. That experience, in and by itself, helped me forget my previous frustrations. SunnyMac is lucky to have an employee such as Laura. Any company would be most happy to have a couple of employees of that caliber.SunnyMac LLC Response

This is the 3rd time I am having problems with my solar panels and when first installed I was told our system was being monitored but in reality it is not. I have called them 4 times on May 31st with no return call when the office was still open. I have no lights on the inverter and have to pay monthly for a system that keeps stopping working. I need this resolved or next step I will be taking them to court. The first two times the lights on the inverter kept flashing so the system was not registering.
